Installation

The appliance must be handled and installed by two or more persons. Installation and maintenance, including supply cord replacement, must be done by the manufacturer or a qualified technician according to instructions and local safety regulations. Do not repair or replace parts yourself unless specified in the manual. Remove all packaging. Do not install or use a damaged appliance. Follow supplied instructions. Always use safety gloves and enclosed footwear when moving; be careful not to damage floors. Ensure the appliance is not near a heat source. Install and level on a strong floor suitable for its size and use. Ensure air circulation around the appliance. After first installation or door reversal, wait at least 4 hours before connecting to power to allow oil to flow back into the compressor. Disconnect the plug before any operations (e.g., door reversal). Do not install in direct sunlight or in very humid or cold areas (e.g., wine cellars). Install where ambient temperature matches the climate class indicated on the rating plate for correct operation. Climate classes explained: SN (10-32°C), N (16-32°C), ST (16-38°C), T (16-43°C).

Electrical Connection

WARNING! Risk of fire and electrical shock. Ensure the supply cord is not trapped or damaged. Do not use multi-plug adapters or extension cables. The appliance must be earthed. Ensure rating plate parameters match mains supply. Use only correctly installed shockproof sockets. Do not damage electrical components (plug, cable, compressor); contact an Authorized Service Centre for replacements. The mains cable must stay below the mains plug level. Connect the plug only after installation is complete and ensure it remains accessible. Do not pull the cable to disconnect; always pull the plug. For UK and Ireland: Use only a 13 A ASTA (BS 1362) fuse if replacement is needed.

Usage

General Usage Warnings

WARNING! Risk of injury, burns, electrical shock or fire. The refrigeration circuit tubes contain a small amount of environmentally friendly but flammable refrigerant R600a. It does not damage the ozone layer or increase the greenhouse effect. If refrigerant escapes, it may injure eyes or ignite. Do not damage the tubes. The compressor surface may become hot; do not touch with hands. Do not change appliance specifications. Do not put electrical appliances (e.g., ice cream makers) inside unless specified by the manufacturer. If the refrigerant circuit is damaged, ensure no flames or ignition sources are present and ventilate the room. Do not let hot items touch plastic parts. Do not store bottled drinks in the freezer compartment to prevent bursting. Do not store flammable gases or liquids. Do not place flammable products or wet items in, near, or on the appliance. Do not touch the compressor or condenser (they are hot). Do not remove items from the frozen-food compartment with wet hands. Do not swallow ice pack contents. Do not eat ice cubes or lollies immediately after removal to prevent cold burns. Thawed food should not be refrozen. Follow storage instructions on frozen food packaging.

Internal Lighting

WARNING! Risk of electric shock. The bulb is specifically designed for domestic appliances and not for general room lighting.

Care and Cleaning

WARNING! Risk of injury or damage. Deactivate and disconnect the appliance before maintenance. The cooling unit contains hydrocarbons; only qualified personnel can perform maintenance and recharging. Regularly examine and clean the drain; blockages can cause defrosted water to collect.

Service

For repairs, contact an Authorized Service Centre listed at the end of the booklet. Use original spare parts only.

Disposal

WARNING! Risk of injury or suffocation. Disconnect from mains supply. Cut off and discard the mains cable. Remove doors to prevent children and pets from being trapped inside. The refrigerant circuit and insulation materials are ozone-friendly. Insulation foam contains flammable gas. Contact your municipal authority for disposal information. Do not damage the cooling unit near the heat exchanger. The manufacturer is not liable for injury or damage if advice and precautions are not followed.
