This product has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other) as a feature to reduce the risk of electric shock. This plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Never use with an extension cord unless plug can be fully inserted. Do not attempt to defeat the safety purpose of the polarized attachment plug. Do not alter the plug.

Assembly Steps
Step 1: Assemble the Lamp Pole
Take the pole segments and screw them together to form the main pole. Ensure they are securely joined.

Step 2: Attach Pole to Base
Screw the assembled pole into the base of the lamp. Rotate the pole until it is firmly attached.

Step 3: Secure the Power Cable
Thread the power cable through the provided clips. Attach the clips to the lamp pole at designated points to manage the cable neatly.

Step 4: Assemble Shade Support Ring
Connect the two halves of the shade support ring.

Step 5: Attach Upper Shade Support
Connect the two pole segments with connectors to the top of the lamp pole. Listen for a "click" to confirm they are securely attached.

Step 6: Attach Lower Shade Support
Connect the lower ring to the pole segments. Listen for a "click" to confirm they are securely attached.

Step 7: Mount Shade Support Structure
Place the assembled shade support structure onto the base of the lamp, aligning it correctly.

Step 8: Position Lampshade
Place the lampshade onto the assembled shade support structure.

Step 9: Secure Lampshade
Fasten the clips on the shade support to the lampshade to hold it in place.

Step 10: Prepare Socket
Unscrew the socket cap, insert the light bulb, and screw the cap back on securely.
