This document provides step-by-step instructions for assembling the IKEA SLATTUM bed frame. Two people are recommended for assembly. Assemble on a soft surface to prevent scratches. Do not force parts together. If you have questions or missing parts, contact IKEA customer service.

Assembly Steps
Step 1
Insert two vertical posts (10050800) into the holes at one end of the base frame. Secure each post with a connector (10050800) using the Allen key (130445).
Step 2
Repeat step 1 for the opposite end of the base frame.
Step 3
Insert two vertical posts (10050800) into the holes on one side of the base frame. Secure each post with a connector (10050800) using the Allen key (130445).
Step 4
Repeat step 3 for the opposite side of the base frame.
Step 5
Attach the side rails to the headboard posts. Use two bolts (146655) and the Allen key (130445) for each side rail connection.
Step 6
Attach the side rails to the footboard posts. Use two bolts (146655) and the Allen key (130445) for each side rail connection.
Step 7
Attach the central support beam to the headboard posts. Use two bolts (128574) and the Allen key (130445) for each side of the beam.
Step 8
Attach the central support beam to the footboard posts. Use two bolts (105107) and the Allen key (130445) for each side of the beam.
Step 9
Attach a slat support bracket (191315) to the headboard post using bolt (130445) and the Allen key (130445).
Step 10
Attach a slat support bracket (191315) to the footboard post using bolt (128574) and the Allen key (130445).
Step 11
Attach a slat support bracket (191315) to the headboard post using bolt (112091) and the Allen key (130445).
Step 12
Attach a slat support bracket (191315) to the footboard post using bolt (128574) and the Allen key (130445).
Step 13
Attach a slat support bracket (191315) to the headboard post using bolt (128574) and the Allen key (130445).
Step 14
Attach a slat support bracket (191315) to the footboard post using bolt (112091) and the Allen key (130445).
Step 15
Attach the feet (191315) to the bottom of the base frame. Use bolts (130445) and the Allen key (130445) for each foot.
Step 16
Attach the central support beam to the side rails. Use two screws (112091) and the Allen key (130445) for each side. Note the warning symbol ⚠️ indicating potential pinching hazard.
Step 17
Connect the side rails to the headboard posts. Insert the side rail into the bracket on the post and secure with two bolts (128574) and the Allen key (130445). Note the warning symbol ⚠️ indicating potential pinching hazard.
Step 18
Attach the slat support brackets (191315) to the headboard posts. Use two bolts (128574) and the Allen key (130445) for each bracket.
Step 19
Attach the slat support brackets (191315) to the footboard posts. Use two bolts (128574) and the Allen key (130445) for each bracket.
Step 20
Insert the central support beam into the designated slots on the headboard posts. Secure with two bolts (112091) and the Allen key (130445).
