Stand Alone Configuration
- Wire all thermostats.
- Launch the View Wireless App and log in with your created credentials.
- Create the system and environments.
- Associate thermostats with environments: Select 'Add' (+), choose the environment, name it, activate Bluetooth on your device, approach the thermostat, and press for 5 seconds until the ring flashes blue.
- Configure functions and parameters for each thermostat.
- Set time schedules, operating mode setpoints, and current time in the 'Temperature control' menu.
Note: In case of power outage, the thermostat reverts to manual mode. Resetting the date/time is necessary to restore automatic mode.
Bluetooth® Configuration
- Wire all devices (switches, relays, thermostats, gateway).
- Launch the View Wireless App and log in.
- Create the system and environments.
- Associate all devices except the gateway (associate it last). Follow the same association steps as in Stand Alone mode.
- Set functions, parameters, and any accessory devices (e.g., magnetic contact art. 03980).
- Transfer device configuration to the gateway and connect it to the Wi-Fi network.
- Transfer the system to the Administrator user.
Refer to the View Wireless App manual for full details.
Zigbee Configuration
- Follow points 1 and 2 of Bluetooth configuration.
- Associate the thermostat directly with a Zigbee hub (e.g., SmartThings Hub).
- Download Zigbee software onto the thermostat using the View Wireless App. Press the button until 'bt' is displayed and the ring flashes blue.
- After conversion or software update, the thermostat enters pairing mode for 5 minutes (ring flashes white). If not in pairing mode, cycle power.
- Associate the thermostat following the Zigbee hub's procedure.
- Associate the module following the Zigbee hub's procedure.
- Set thermostat parameters. Press the relevant button for parameter editing within the first 10 minutes of power-up or after restarting.
Thermostat Controls and Display
- Dial: Adjusts setpoint. In Bluetooth mode, turning the dial can switch to manual operation.
- Buttons: Used for control and configuration.
- Short press: Selects Celsius/Fahrenheit.
- Long press (5s): Enters configuration phase (bt).
- Prolonged press (30s): Resets the device (rst) within the first 5 minutes of power-up.
- Programmable function key: Controls display brightness, RGB LED, heating/air conditioning mode, and calls up scenarios.
- Display: Shows status indicators like 'bt' (Bluetooth configuration), 'off'/'on' (thermostat status), '°C'/'°F' (units), brightness levels (L-0 to L-3), operating modes (H for heating, C for air conditioning), and 'opn*' for open window detection.
- Lightable ring: Indicates power status and operating mode.
Ring Signalling
- Flashing blue: Thermostat in configuration mode.
- Lit amber: Thermostat in heating mode, relay active.
- Lit blue: Thermostat in air conditioning mode, relay active.
- Lit amber (not active): Thermostat in heating mode, relay not active.
- Lit blue (not active): Thermostat in air conditioning mode, relay not active.
- Flashing red: Thermostat lost hourly value, switched to manual mode. Returns to automatic when hourly value is received.
Thermostat Date/Time Setting
In Stand Alone mode, if the 'ON Mode' is set to 'Automatic', date and time can be set directly on the device after a power outage.
- Press to enter 'Time entry' phase.
- Use the dial to set the day of the week (1=Monday, 7=Sunday).
- Press to confirm and set the hours (00-23).
- Press to confirm and set the minutes (00-59).
- Press to confirm. The thermostat returns to its previous status.
Note: If no selection is made within 2 minutes, the procedure times out. To change time without a blackout, press the button for 5 seconds and follow steps 1-7.
Resetting the Thermostat
Press the button for 30 seconds within the first 5 minutes of powering up. The ring flashes blue and emits 2 white flashes to confirm the reset.
