- Display Configuration: The display can be configured to show room temperature, current setpoint, or the difference to the current setpoint.
- Proximity Sensor: Built-in proximity sensor (sensitivity adjustable via App View Pro) activates the device from standby mode. This information can be relayed to other switches on the same electrified XT mounting plate and, if enabled, to other switches in the same application. Standby time is configurable.
- Power Supply: Powered via electrified XT mounting plates (Art. 32602.x, 32603.x, 32604.x, or 32614.x) and corresponding junction boxes (Art. 32001).
- Max BUS Current Draw: 15 mA.
- Configuration/Reset Button: Includes a red LED and a configuration/reset button.
- Mounting: Connects to the rear of electrified XT mounting plates. Occupies 2 front modules (30.5 mm).
- Standby Brightness: Selectable standby brightness levels via parameters.
- Temperature Hysteresis: Adjustable from 0.1°C to 1°C.
- Measurement Precision: Built-in sensor with a measurement range of 0 to 40°C, ±0.5°C between 15°C and 30°C, ±0.8°C at extreme values.
- Actuator Control: Controls heating/cooling valves via By-me actuator with ON/OFF control (Art. 01471) or proportional control (0-10 V, 4-20 mA) via actuator 01466.1.
- Fan Coil Control: Controls fan coil units with 3 speed settings/proportional control, and ON/OFF valves.
- Control Algorithm: Adjustable ON/OFF or PID control algorithm.
- Boost Function: Controls an additional actuator for faster room heating or cooling.
- Intermediate Season Function: Available for 4-pipe systems via a master device, controlling the auxiliary output with specific parameters.
- External Sensor: Can use a bus-connected outdoor sensor for: replacing the indoor sensor, averaging with the indoor sensor, limiting screed temperature, or display only.
- Open Window Function: Includes control for activation/deactivation delay.
- Remote Control: Device can be controlled remotely.
- Temperature Offset: Allows for correction of the measured temperature reading to compensate for installation errors or calibration differences.
- Control via 32044.x: Can be controlled via a button on device 32044.x for ON/OFF, Heat/Cool, fan speed adjustment, Celsius/Fahrenheit switching, and remote sensor temperature display.
- LED Matrix: 17x7 LED matrix.
- Operating Temperature: 0°C - +40°C (T40, indoor use).
- ErP Classification: Class I (1%) for ON/OFF, Class IV (2%) for PID, Class V (3%) with proportional analog output actuator.
- Configurable via: App View Pro.
- Voice Control: Supports control via App View, Alexa, Google Assistant, and Siri.
- Protection Rating: IP30.
- Creepage Resistance: PT1175.
- Pollution Degree: 2 (normal).
- Rated Impulse Voltage: 4000 V.
- Software Class: A.
Configuration with App View Pro
For detailed information, refer to the instructions available for download on www.vimar.com. The App View allows for the following settings:
- Time programs (times and temperature levels T1, T2, and T3).
- Setpoint for all operating modes (Manual, Reduced Manual, Away, Protection).
- Duration of timed manual operation: from 0.5 to 23.5 hours (in 0.5-hour increments); Standard = 1 hour.
Installation Instructions
Installation and configuration must be performed by qualified personnel in accordance with the electrical installation regulations applicable in the country of use.
- Mounting: The device must be installed on the following electrified XT mounting plates: 2 modules (Art. 32602.x), 3 modules (Art. 32603.x), 4 modules (Art. 32604.x and 32614.x).
- Optimal Placement: For accurate temperature readings, install the device on the far right of the electrified XT mounting plate (32602.x, 32603.x, 32604.x). A maximum of one actuator can be installed on the far left of mounting plates 32603.x and 32604.x. If this is not followed, a temperature offset must be configured (though measurement precision is not guaranteed).
- Installation Height: Install the device approximately 1.5 meters above the floor in a location that allows for correct room temperature detection. Avoid installation in niches, behind doors or curtains, or in areas affected by heat sources, forced ventilation from heating/cooling, or weather conditions. Do not install on external walls or near heat-generating devices (e.g., regulators or lamps).
- Proximity Sensor Optimization: To optimize operation, leave only one proximity sensor active per lighting point and deactivate the others.
- Proximity Sensor Spacing: Avoid installing two or more switches with active proximity sensors if the distance between them is less than 4 meters. [proximity sensor spacing warning]
- IR Interference: Avoid installing a switch with an active proximity sensor in front of a device with an IR receiver to prevent potential interference.
Norm Conformity
The device complies with the following directives and standards:
- Low Voltage Directive (LVD)
- EMC Directive
- RoHS Directive
- Standards: EN 60730-2-9, EN 50491-2, EN IEC 63044, EN IEC 63000.
- Regulation (EU) No. 811/2013 on temperature regulators.
- REACH Regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006 - Art.33. The product may contain traces of lead.
- WEEE Directive (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment): The crossed-out dustbin symbol indicates separate collection at the end of the product's life. Users must return old equipment to designated municipal collection points or return it to retailers when purchasing equivalent new equipment. Small electronic devices (under 25 cm) can be returned free of charge to electronics retailers with a sales area of at least 400 m² without the obligation to purchase a new device. Proper separate collection contributes to environmental protection and resource recovery.
