SMART AUTOMATION BY-ME PLUS 32041.x
The XT thermostat for By-me home automation is designed for controlling ambient temperature for heating and air conditioning systems. It supports 2 and 4-pipe installations, fan-coil control with 3 speeds and proportional management, and temperature control with ON/OFF (Class I, 1% contribution) or PID (Class IV, 2% contribution) modes. It can interface with actuators for proportional analog outputs (0-10V, 4-20mA) to act as a modulating thermostat (Class V, 3% contribution). Features include a Boost function for activating a second heat source, Proximity function, and LED backlighting. It occupies 2 front modules.
The thermostat integrates with the By-me Plus home automation system for thermoregulation in 2 or 4-pipe systems, including neutral zone management in 4-pipe setups. The Boost function helps reach desired thermal comfort faster. It features a dot matrix display with white LEDs and two keys for temperature setpoint control, along with LEDs indicating heating (amber/white) or cooling (light blue/white) phases. Users can configure the display to show ambient temperature, current setpoint, or the setpoint delta.
A configurable proximity sensor activates the thermostat from standby. When active, it sends information to other controls on the same electrified XT support and, if enabled, to other controls in the same application. Standby time is configurable.

CONFIGURATION with the View Pro app
For detailed information, refer to the manuals available for download at www.vimar.com.
The View app allows configuration of:
- Time Schedules: Times and temperature levels (T1, T2, T3).
- Setpoints: For all operating modes (Manual, Reduced, Away, Protection).
- Manual Timed Operation Duration: 0.5 to 23.5 hours (0.5-hour increments); default = 1 hour.
INSTALLATION GUIDELINES
- Installation and configuration must be performed by qualified personnel in accordance with current regulations for electrical material assembly in the country of installation.
- The device must be mounted on Vimar electrified XT supports: 2 modules (art. 32602.x), 3 modules (art. 32603.x), or 4 modules (art. 32604.x and 32614.x).
- For accurate temperature measurement, install the device in the rightmost position on the XT support. A maximum of one actuator can be installed in the leftmost position on 3- and 4-module supports. If this mounting is not possible, use the offset function for temperature calibration (accuracy may be affected).
- Mount the device on the wall using the electrified XT support, approximately 1.5m from the floor, in a location suitable for accurate ambient temperature detection. Avoid installation in niches, behind doors/curtains, near heat sources, or in direct airflow from heating/cooling systems or subject to atmospheric conditions. Avoid mounting on perimeter walls or near heat-generating devices.
- To optimize performance, it is advisable to activate only one proximity sensor per light point and deactivate others.
- Avoid mounting two or more controls with activated proximity sensors facing each other at a distance less than 4m: < 4m [arrow pointing left] [arrow pointing right].
- Avoid mounting a button with an activated proximity sensor in front of a device with an infrared receiver to prevent interference.
