Preventing Milk Leaks and Breast Milk Pumping Tips
-
Lean forward and ensure your nipple is centered within the breast shield. The breast pump must form a tight seal against your breast.

It is recommended to use supportive nursing bras that help create a tight seal between your breasts and the breast shield.

Sit or stand while pumping; do not lie down.
Cleaning and Sterilization
Non-washable parts: Pump motor
Washable parts: Milk collector, Breast shield, Membrane, Connector, Valve
Milk Collector
Breast Shield
Membrane
Connector
Valve
We recommend cleaning washable parts with soapy water (40-60°C / 104-140°F) for 3-5 minutes. For sterilization, use boiling water, steam, or a sterilizer at a temperature not exceeding 100°C (212°F). Boil and sterilize parts for 5-10 minutes.
It is not recommended to sterilize breast pump parts in a microwave, as this can shorten their lifespan.
Tips
- The expected lifespan of washable parts is 1-3 months. It is recommended to replace washable parts after prolonged storage or before pumping for another child.
- The breast pump automatically shuts off after 30 minutes of inactivity. If irritation or discomfort occurs, discontinue use and consult a healthcare professional.
