How to Prevent Milk Leaks and Pumping Tips for More Milk Production
- Lean forward to ensure your nipple is centered in the flange tunnel. The breast pump should sit snugly against your breast.
- We recommend users wear a full-coverage nursing bra to create a tight seal between the breast and flange.
- Ensure the pump is assembled correctly.
- When pumping, sit or stand upright; do not lie down.
Cleaning and Sterilization
Non-washable parts:
- Pump Motor
Washable parts:
- Milk Collector
- Flange
- Diaphragm
- Connector
- Valve
We recommend using soapy water (40-60°C) to clean washable parts for 3-5 minutes.
Use boiling water/steam/sterilizing pot for sterilization, at a temperature below 100°C (212°F). Boil and sterilize parts for 5-10 minutes.
It is recommended not to sterilize your breast pump accessories in a microwave, as this shortens the lifespan of the accessories.
Tips
- The expected lifespan for washable parts is one to three months. It is recommended to replace washable parts after long-term storage or before pumping for your next child.
- The breast pump will automatically shut off after 30 minutes of pumping. If irritation or discomfort occurs, discontinue use and consult a healthcare provider.
