First Setup

Earphones with Automatic Connection

A. Remove stickers from the earphones. Press and hold both power/touch buttons for 2 seconds or longer to POWER ON. The left earphone will glow solid white, and the right earphone will blink blue and white, indicating it is ready to connect to your device.

Connecting to Bluetooth

Select "JLab Epic Air Sport" in your device settings. Two beeps followed by solid white lights indicate you have connected the earphones.

Adding New / Additional Bluetooth Devices:

Turn OFF Bluetooth from previously connected devices. Turn ON Bluetooth from the new device. Remove the earphones from the charging case. They will automatically begin pairing via Bluetooth. Select "JLab Epic Air Sport" in device settings to connect the device.

Controls

Left Earphone

• ? Touch Sensor:
• Press once to lower volume.
• Press twice for Siri (iOS) or "OK Google" (Android).
• Press and hold for one second to skip backward.
• Press three times to switch EQ settings.

Right Earphone

• ? Touch Sensor:
• Press once to raise volume.
• Press twice to Play/Pause.
• Press and hold for one second to skip forward.
• Press once to answer call.
• Press twice to end call.
• Press and hold for one second to reject call.
• Press three times to Turn ON/OFF Be Aware Mode.

Left Earphone Power Button

• Press and hold for one second to POWER ON.
• Press and hold for 3 seconds to POWER OFF.

Right Earphone Power Button

• Press and hold for one second to POWER ON.
• Press and hold for 3 seconds to POWER OFF.

Sound Notifications

• Power On = Chime
• Bluetooth Connected = Two beeps
• Low Battery = "Low Battery" (less than 20%)
• Power Off = Chime

Equalizer Settings

Triple-tap the left earphone for different EQ settings. Audio prompts will indicate the EQ settings (Epic Air Sport cycles through three EQ settings).

• JLab Signature: JLab C3™ signature sound with boosted vocals and bass.
• Balanced: Even sound without additional sound enhancement.
• Bass Boost: Amplified bass and sub-bass.

Auto On / Off

1. When the earphones are placed in the charging case, they will turn OFF and begin charging. Blue lights indicate the earphones are charging and will turn OFF when fully charged.Illustration shows earphones being placed into the charging case for charging.

Charging Case

Connect JBuds Air Executive to a computer or a USB charger 5V 1A (or lower).

Lights will blink white while the earphones are charging and turn solid white when fully charged.

Follow these steps to ensure a proper fit for optimal sound and comfort.

Troubleshooting

NO SOUND IN LEFT EARPHONE OR EARPHONES DISCONNECTING FROM EACH OTHER (MANUAL RESET)

1. Go into your device's Bluetooth settings and delete the connection to "Epic Air Sport". [Figure A: Illustration of device Bluetooth settings menu]
2. Open the charging case lid and leave both earphones in the case. Start with ONE earphone, quickly tap the touch sensor four times. The light will blink blue four times and then turn solid blue. Leave the earphones in the charging case. [Figure C1: Illustration of earphone in case with touch sensor being tapped]
3. Repeat with the other earphone. Quickly tap the touch sensor four times. The light will blink blue four times and then turn solid blue. [Figure C2: Illustration of other earphone in case with touch sensor being tapped]
4. Remove the earphones from the charging case and hold them approximately five cm apart. Wait for the left earphone to turn solid white and the right earphone to blink blue and white. You can now connect them to your Bluetooth device.

BLUETOOTH DEVICE CANNOT CONNECT OR RECONNECT

1. Go into your device's Bluetooth settings and delete the connection to "Epic Air Sport". [Figure A: Illustration of device Bluetooth settings menu]
2. Turn OFF Bluetooth, then turn it ON again. [Figure B: Illustration of device Bluetooth toggle]
3. Remove the earphones from the case. Wait for the left earphone to glow solid white and the right earphone to blink blue and white.
4. Select "JLab Epic Air Sport" in device settings to connect the device again.

Quick Tips

• Bluetooth connection is established via the right earphone. Keep the device close to your right side or in your right pocket for the most stable connection.
• If you prefer to use only one earphone, use the right one, as it is the one connected to Bluetooth.
• The correct ear tip creates a tight seal with the speaker unit, providing significantly improved sound quality. All ear tips should be tried to achieve the best results.
• Only ONE Bluetooth device can be connected at a time. Turn OFF Bluetooth on unwanted devices and turn ON Bluetooth on the desired device to connect.

Warnings

Dry the earphones completely before placing them in the charging case. Wet earphones will damage the charging case. Warranty is void if the charging case shows signs of water or sweat damage.

Avoid deforming the ear hooks. The ear hooks are made of flexible silicone but contain an internal hard structure for the antenna. Tampering with the ear hooks can damage the antenna.

Cautions:

• Avoid extreme heat, cold, or humidity.
• Avoid dropping or crushing your earphones.
• Earwax can accumulate in the ear tips, impairing sound quality. Gently remove wax with a cotton swab or suitable tool to improve sound quality.
• If you experience discomfort or pain, lower the volume or stop use temporarily.
• If you regularly feel discomfort while using this product, stop using it and consult a doctor.
• We recommend treating your earphones like a pair of expensive sunglasses and storing them in a safe place when not in use.
