Denver CCT-1650 Dashcam

This document provides important safety information and operating instructions for the Denver CCT-1650 dashcam.

Safety Information

Please read the safety instructions carefully before first use and keep them for future reference.

  1. The battery in this device is only for ensuring correct saving of recordings. It is not intended to operate solely on battery power due to its small capacity.
  2. Warning! This product contains a lithium polymer battery.
  3. Keep the product out of reach of children and pets to avoid chewing and swallowing.
  4. The product's operating temperature is between -15 to +60 degrees Celsius, and the storage temperature is between -20 to +65 degrees Celsius. Temperatures below or above this range may affect the device's performance.
  5. Never open the product. Touching internal electrical parts may cause electric shock. Repairs or maintenance should only be performed by qualified personnel.
  6. Keep the device away from heat, water, moisture, and direct sunlight!
  7. The device is not waterproof.
  8. If water or foreign objects enter the device, it may cause fire or electric shock. If water or foreign objects enter the device, stop using it immediately.
  9. Use only with the included 12V car adapter.
  10. Do not use non-original accessories with the product, as it may interfere with the product's operation.

User Interface Introduction

The dashcam features the following components:

Operating Instructions

1. Powering the Device On/Off

To turn on: When the device is off, a long press of the power button will emit a beep, the startup screen will be displayed, the operation indicator (blue) will light up, and the device will turn on.

To turn off: When the device is on, a long press of the power button will emit a beep, the shutdown screen will be displayed, the operation indicator (blue) will turn off, and the device will turn off.

Note! If using a car charger, the device will automatically turn on when the car charger starts; when the car charger is turned off, the device will automatically turn off.

2. Recording

When the car engine starts, the video recording function will automatically turn on; when the car engine is turned off, the device will automatically save the log content and turn off. Press the power button to manually stop/start video recording.

Recorded video clips are saved to the SD card; if the SD card is full, the oldest recordings will be overwritten.

Recording time can be set in the menu: Off/1/3/5/10 minutes.

3. Photo Mode

Recording mode is the default when the machine is turned on. In standby mode, press the M button to enter photo mode and the power button to take a picture. In photo mode, briefly press the M button to enter the settings menu.

4. G-Sensor

Select the gravity sensor (G-sensor) function in the menu settings and briefly press the power button to activate this function. If a collision occurs during driving, the device will lock the first 5 seconds and the last 10 seconds of the event, and the locked image will be saved as a special file that will not be overwritten by the cycle.

The sensitivity of the gravity sensor (G-sensor) can be adjusted in the settings menu as needed: Off/Low/Medium/High.

5. Playback

Long press the M button to enter playback mode, then press the left/right buttons to select the desired file or photo, and press the power button to play/pause.

In playback mode, briefly press the M button to delete/lock files.

6. Setting Date/Time

Press the [M] button to open the menu settings, find the date/time menu, confirm the time with a short press of the power button, and press the [M] button to exit the menu settings.

Note! For effective recording and evidence collection, set the correct time and date before using the device.
