Product Structure
The DENVER CCT-1210 MK3 Dash Cam features a compact design with essential controls and ports. The front view typically shows the lens, while the rear view displays the LCD screen and control buttons.
- 1. LCD screen: For viewing live footage, recorded videos, and menu options.
- 2. UP/Mute button: Navigates up in menus or mutes audio during recording.
- 3. Menu button: Accesses settings and options.
- 4. OK/Power button: Confirms selections, starts/stops recording, or turns the device on/off.
- 5. Mode button: Switches between video, photo, and playback modes.
- 6. Down button: Navigates down in menus.
- 7. Reset button: A small recessed button to restart the device in case of a crash.
- 8. Lens: The camera lens for capturing video and photos.
- 9. Mic: Microphone for audio recording.
- 10. Night lights: Infrared or LED lights for improved low-light recording.
- 11. SD card Slot: For inserting a Micro SD card for storage.
- 12. USB port: For power connection and data transfer.
Operation Guide
1. Charging
Connect the camera to a car charger via the USB port.
2. Turn On/Off Camera
- If connected to a car charger, the camera will automatically turn on with the car.
- If not connected in the car:
- Long press the OK/Power button to turn the camera on.
- Long press the OK/Power button again to turn the camera off.
3. Video Recording
- If the camera is connected to a car charger, it will start video recording automatically when the car is turned on and stop when the car is turned off.
- If the camera is not connected to a car charger:
- After turning on the camera, press the OK/Power button to start video recording.
- Press the OK/Power button again to stop video recording.
4. Photo Taking
After turning on the camera, short press the Mode button to switch to photo mode. Then, short press the OK/Power button to take a photo.
5. Playback
After turning on the camera, short press the Mode button to switch to playback mode. Then, short press the OK/Power button to play back recorded video.
6. Video Setup
In video mode, short press the Menu button to set up video specifications. Short press the Menu button again to access the second menu page.
7. Photo Setup
After turning on the camera, short press the Mode button to switch to photo mode. Then, short press the Menu button to set up photo specifications.

9. Troubleshooting
For problems in normal operating situations, please try these methods below:
- Can't take photo and recording: Check if the TF card has enough free space or is locked.
- "Files error” when replaying photo or video: This may be due to uncompleted files because of an SD card storage error. Please format your SD card.
- Black image when recording sky or water scene: Scenes with big contrast will influence the automatic exposure function of the camera. You can adjust "EV" in setting mode to correct this.
- Color is not perfect in cloudy day and outdoor light: Set the "white balance" function to automatic.
- Cross stripe interference in image: This is because of wrong "light frequency". Please set it to 50Hz or 60Hz according to the local power supply frequency.
- Crash: Restart the camera by pressing the "RESET" button.
