Operating Instructions
1. Automatic Recording
Start the vehicle's engine; the recorder will automatically start recording. When the engine is turned off, the recorder will save the current recording and shut down. Recorded video segments are saved to the SD card. If the SD card is full, the oldest recorded footage will be overwritten. Recording segment length can be set to 3, 5, or 10 minutes. Videos are stored in "VIDEOA" and "VIDEOB" folders on the SD card.
2. Photo Function
While the device is on, press the [OK] button to stop recording. Press the [M] button to enter photo mode, then press [OK] to take a photo. Press [M] multiple times to return to video mode.
3. Motion Detection
In standby mode, access the menu and enable motion detection. If motion is detected by the lens, the camera will activate and record for 30 seconds. To disable, access the menu in standby mode and turn off motion detection.
4. G-Sensor
The built-in G-Sensor detects heavy impacts or collisions. It automatically locks the recording from 5 seconds before to 10 seconds after the event. Locked files are saved as a special file and will not be overwritten. G-Sensor sensitivity can be adjusted in the setup menu.
5. One-Touch Lock Function
Press the [M] button during recording to lock the current video file, protecting it from being overwritten.
6. Date/Time Setting
Press the [M] button to access the menu, then press [OK] to confirm settings and return to the setup menu. Ensure the correct time and date are set for effective recording and forensics.
7. Playback
In photo mode, press [M] to enter playback mode, then press [OK] to start playback. Press [M] again to exit playback mode.
8. Parking Monitor
When the vehicle is parked, the parking monitor function can be activated. If vibration is detected, the recorder will automatically start recording and lock the video for 30 seconds.
