FEATURES AND BENEFITS
DISPLAY
With the largest LCD in its category, the SST4 display ensures information is presented clearly, enabling quick decisions. It can display up to four gases in PPM, %vol, mg/m³, and %LEL. Correction factors can be set via the WatchGas SST Application for one-to-one readings of target gases. The backlight allows use in dark environments and illuminates during alarms.
SENSOR
Utilizing the latest Solid State Technology, the H₂S, CO, O₂, and SO₂ sensors offer stability and reliability across extreme temperatures and conditions. Toxic sensors have a smaller form factor and, by removing liquid electrolyte, provide a long-lasting sensor. A choice of 3 different LEL sensors allows users to tailor the device to their specific application, offering longer runtimes compared to conventional technology.
NFC (Near Field Communication)
Built-in as standard, NFC enables a wide range of solutions. Pairing the SST4 with the WatchGas SST Application allows for fleet management, bump testing, calibration, assignment, and downloading of event and data logs.
ALERT
As a safety device, the SST4 clearly notifies users of gas presence with a 95 dB alarm at 30 centimeters, meeting industry standards for loud environments. High, HighHigh, Low, LowLow, TWA, and STEL alarms can be configured by the user and updated directly on the device via the SST Dock or WatchGas SST Application.
WIRELESS CHARGING
Designed for dirty and harsh environments where charging connectors often get damaged, the SST4 features induction charging for simple and quick charging without the risk of cable or port damage. A full charge takes 2-3 hours. Various charging accessories are available.
RUGGED
Built for the harshest environments, the SST4 boasts an IP rating of 65/68. Its double-shot housing provides extra robustness without compromising quality. Screen protectors on either side of the display shield the LCD from scratches.
