HOMCOM 836-431 Computer Desk Assembly Instructions

Step 1

Attach side panels (4) and (5) to the base panel (10). Use four 'A' screws (M6*40) and four 'B' screws (M8*40). The diagram shows the correct orientation and placement of screws. Hardware pack 'P' is also used.

Step 2

Attach side panels (2) and (3) to the base panel (9). Use four 'A' screws (M6*40) and four 'B' screws (M8*40). Ensure correct orientation as shown. Hardware pack 'P' is also used.

Step 3

Attach the back panel (7) to the assembled structure from Step 2 (panels 2, 3, and base 9). Use eight 'A' screws (M6*40) and six 'B' screws (M8*40). Hardware pack 'P' is also used.

Step 4

Attach the back panel (7) to the assembled structure from Step 1 (panels 4, 5, and base 10). Use eight 'A' screws (M6*40) and six 'B' screws (M8*40). Hardware pack 'P' is also used.

Step 5

Attach drawer slides to the side panels (2) and (7). Use six 'P' hardware packs, six 'B' screws (M8*40), and six 'A' screws (M6*40).

Step 6

Attach drawer slides to the side panels (4) and (8). Use six 'P' hardware packs, six 'B' screws (M8*40), and six 'A' screws (M6*40).

Step 7

Install the drawer slides (D1) onto the main desk structure. Ensure the holes are correctly aligned for installation, as misaligned screws can affect drawer smoothness. Use twelve 'L' screws (M3.5*14) and three 'D1' drawer slides (350mm).

Diagram shows installing D1 slides onto panels 4, 5, 7, 8, 10. Screws L are used. A checkmark ✔️ indicates correct installation, a cross ❌ indicates incorrect.

Step 8

Connect the two main desk sections. Use connector plates (11) and four 'C' screws (M8*60). The diagram shows how the two halves are joined.

Step 9

Attach drawer runners (O), screws (L), and connector plates (F) to the main structure. Use one 'O' knob/cap, sixteen 'L' screws (M3.5*14), and two 'F' connector plates.

Step 10

Attach the drawer runners (K) to the underside of the desk top (1). The diagram shows multiple 'K' runners being attached with screws.

Step 11

Attach the desk top (1) to the assembled base structure. The diagram shows the desk top being placed and secured.

Step 12

Install drawer support tubes (G), hardware pack (P), screws (B), and components (H, I) into the desk structure. Use three 'G' tubes (150mm), seven 'P' hardware packs, six 'B' screws (M8*40), three 'H' screws (M6*170), and three 'I' screw caps.

Step 13

Assemble the drawer boxes. Attach drawer slide brackets (N) and use screws (L) and (J) to connect drawer panels. Attach drawer slides (E) to the drawer sides. Use one 'N' bracket, ten 'L' screws (M3.5*14), one 'J' screw (M4*18), and two 'E' drawer slides.

Step 14

Assemble drawer boxes (13, 14, 21). Use eight 'M' screws (M3.5*35), eight 'L' screws (M3.5*14), two 'J' screws (M4*18), two 'D2' drawer slides (350mm), and eight 'A' screws (M6*40).

Step 15

Assemble drawer boxes (17, 18, 19, 20, 21). Use four 'M' screws (M3.5*35), four 'L' screws (M3.5*14), one 'J' screw (M4*18), one 'D2' drawer slide (350mm), and four 'A' screws (M6*40).

Step 16

Final check and drawer insertion. Be careful to push the drawers in when both sides are aligned. Ensure smooth operation.
