3.3 AC Charging
The R1500 supports AP-Power fast charging technology with adjustable modes: standard, fast, or mute. The default setting is mute mode, with a charging power of 400W. The fast charging mode can reach 1000W. The charging power can be adjusted via the app. Refer to section 3.7 for app operation details.
If the AC input current exceeds 20A (100-120V) or 15A (220-240V), the unit's overload protection will activate. To resume charging, press the AC overload protector button after the issue is resolved. If the AC input current is too high, it may trigger PowerProtection. The product will resume operation after the protection is reset.
Use the original standard AC charging cable. ALLPOWERS is not responsible for damages caused by using unofficial charging cables. Connect directly to a wall outlet; extension sockets are not recommended. Ensure household wiring can support 7A (220V-240V) / 15A (100V-120V). If these conditions are not met, use standard or mute charging modes.
*To prevent the power station from operating at low voltage, please charge it within 24 hours if the power drops below 5%.
3.4 Solar Charging
Users can charge the product by connecting solar panels in series. Ensure the solar panel's output voltage is within 60V, the maximum current is 13A, and the maximum charging power is less than 650W.
Diagram Description: Shows ALLPOWERS Solar Panel connected via XT60 cable to the R1500's Solar/Car Input port.
3.5 Smart Extra Battery
The R1500 can be expanded using ALLPOWERS Smart Extra Batteries, supporting up to 2 additional battery packs. Connect them using the provided cable. Note that while the total capacity increases, the maximum output power remains the same. Ensure correct connection to avoid product damage.
Diagram Description: Illustrates two scenarios. In "Normal" operation, the power station is charged by the grid and powers an electrical appliance. In "Power Cut Off" operation, when the grid power is lost, the R1500 automatically powers the electrical appliance from its battery. The diagram also shows the R1500 connected to an Extra Battery.
3.6 UPS Function (Uninterruptible Power Supply)
This product supports UPS functionality. When connected to mains power, the unit draws power from the grid. If the mains power is suddenly cut off, the product automatically switches to battery power within 15ms. It is recommended to use only one device at a time to avoid overload protection. If the power station malfunctions or data is lost due to improper operation, ALLPOWERS is not responsible.
Note:
- When AC charging and AC output are active, the UPS function icon (⚡) will light up automatically.
- For UPS operation:
- AC output ports should not exceed 1500W for 100-120V mains voltage.
- AC output ports should not exceed 1800W for 220-240V mains voltage.
If these limits are exceeded, the power station will limit output to 5% of its capacity and turn off AC output.
