Assembly Instructions

Before You Begin

Ensure you have all parts and tools. If you encounter issues, contact IKEA customer support.

Required tool: Allen key (provided).

Allen key (1x) - Part #100006
Screws (12x) - Part #100229
Screws (4x) - Part #109049
Washers (4x) - Part #100823
Slats and support pieces (approx. 33 total, including 10x, 18x, 3x, 2x bundles) - Part #139219

Assembly Steps

Step 1

Attach the first set of slats to one side rail.

Using the Allen key (100006), secure three (3x) screws (100229) to attach the first bundle of slats (part of 139219) to the side rail. A magnified view shows the connection mechanism.

Step 2

Attach the second set of slats to the other side rail.

Repeat the process from Step 1 for the opposite side rail, using three (3x) screws (100229). The diagram shows the partially assembled frame and a close-up of the slat attachment. An incorrect assembly method (slats upside down) is indicated with a cross [❌].

Step 3

Insert the remaining slats.

Insert the next bundle of slats (part of 139219) into the pre-fitted holders on the side rails. A close-up shows the slat being slid into place. An incorrect method, showing potential finger pinching, is marked with a cross [❌].

Step 4

Insert more slats.

Continue inserting the remaining slats (part of 139219) into their respective holders. The diagram includes close-ups of the insertion process and an incorrect method marked with a cross [❌].

Step 5

Insert the final slats.

Insert the last bundle of slats (part of 139219) into the holders. The diagram shows a close-up of the insertion and an incorrect method marked with a cross [❌].

Step 6

Attach the center support rail.

Position the center support rail (part of 139219) along the length of the bed frame. Secure it using three (3x) screws (100229), as illustrated in a close-up.

Step 7

Secure the frame and place on bed.

Secure the main side rails to the end pieces of the bed frame using four (4x) screws (109049) and four (4x) washers (100823).
