Parts and Tools Required
Before starting assembly, ensure you have all the necessary parts and tools.
Tools:

The slatted bed base itself consists of:
- 2x Slatted strips (Part 139221)
- 10x Slats
- 18x Slats
- 3x Crossbars
- 2x Side rails
Step 1: Prepare Side Rails and Slats
Attach the first two wooden slats to one of the side rails using the hex key and screws.

Fasteners used:
- Use [hex key] (100006)
- Use 3x [long screw] (100229)
This step involves connecting the slatted strips (139221) and slats to the side rails.
Step 2: Attach Second Side Rail
Attach the second side rail to the slatted strips and slats.

Fasteners used:
- Use 3x [long screw] (100229)
Step 3: Insert Slats into Rails
Insert the remaining slats into the side rails.

Step 4: Continue Inserting Slats
Continue inserting the rest of the slats into the side rails.

Step 5: Complete Slatted Base Assembly
The slatted base structure is now assembled.

Step 6: Position and Secure Base
Place the assembled slatted base into the bed frame. Secure the base to the frame.

Step 7: Final Securing
Complete the securing of the slatted base to the bed frame.
