ITEM NO. : T3041BU-J-C ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
General Assembly Steps
- Install the mounting plate (A) on the outlet box using the screws (B).
- Loosen the hex nuts around the bolts (C) and screw in or unscrew the bolts from the junction box to get the right length for installation.
- Connect the fixture wire to the circuit wire by wire nuts (D): black wire with live wire, white wire with neutral wire, ground wire with ground wire.
- Fix the lamp body (E) to the mounting plate (A) by the ball nuts (F).
- Place the lamp shade (G) on the socket and tighten it with the socket ring (H).
- Screw the bulb (J) into the lamp holder.
Please consult a qualified Electrician if you are not familiar with electrical wiring. ?
This diagram illustrates the main lamp fixture components, including the lamp shade (G), socket ring (H), and bulb (J). The fixture attaches to a mounting plate (A), which is connected to an electrical outlet box. The wiring connections are depicted: a ground wire, a white wire labeled "White Wire" connecting to "Neutral Wire", and a black wire labeled "Black Wire" connecting to "Live Wire". The outlet box is also labeled. Key components are identified by letters: A (mounting plate), B (screws), C (bolts/nuts), D (wire nuts), E (lamp body), F (ball nuts), G (lamp shade), H (socket ring), J (bulb).
Installation Process Without a Junction Box
- Drill holes on the wall according to the size of drywall anchors and gently tap the plastic drywall anchors (A) into the hole with a hammer.
- Align the holes on the mounting plate with those on the wall. Drill a deep hole for the green screw securing the ground wire (E).
- Attach the mounting plate (B) to the wall and secure it with self-tapping screws (C).
- Wrap a few loops of the ground wire (E) around the green screw tightly.
- Pass the power cord (D) through the hole on the canopy and fasten the cord with an 8-shaped fastener. Connect the fixture wire to the circuit wire with wire nuts: black wire with live wire (L) and white wire with neutral wire (N).
This diagram illustrates the installation process onto a wall. It shows drilling holes for drywall anchors (A), attaching the mounting plate (B) using self-tapping screws (C), and securing the ground wire (E) to a green screw. The power cord (D) is shown passing through the fixture's canopy. The wiring connections are detailed: the fixture's black wire connects to the house's live wire (L), and the fixture's white wire connects to the house's neutral wire (N), using wire nuts. The ground wire is also shown connected.
Important Note on Wiring
To differentiate the neutral wire from the live wire, look for a white line printed on the cover of the neutral wire. This helps ensure correct and safe electrical connections. ?
