Tips for Preventing Milk Loss and Collecting More Milk
- Lean forward to ensure your nipple is in the center of the flange channel. The breast pump should fit snugly against your breast.
- Wear a well-fitting nursing bra that creates a good seal between the breast and the flange.
- Ensure the pump is assembled correctly.
- When pumping, sit or stand upright, and do not lie down.
Cleaning and Sterilization
Non-washable parts:
- Motor
Washable parts:
- Milk collector
- Flange
- Diaphragm
- Connector
- Valve
- Lid
We recommend using soapy water (40-60°C or 104-140°F) to clean the washable parts for 3-5 minutes.
To sterilize, use boiling water/steam/sterilizer at a temperature higher than 100 °C (212 °F). Boil and sterilize the parts for 5-10 minutes.
It is recommended that you do not sterilize pump parts in a microwave or UV sterilizer. This will shorten the lifespan of the accessories.
Additional Tips
- The expected lifespan of the washable parts is 1 to 3 months. It is recommended to replace the washable parts if you have stored the pump for a long period, or before pumping for your next child.
- The breast pump automatically shuts off after pumping for 30 minutes. If irritation or discomfort occurs, stop using the device and consult a healthcare provider.
