Pumping Method

Once powered on, briefly press the power button to start inflating. The pump will automatically stop when the preset air pressure is reached.

Diagram: Shows briefly pressing the power button to start inflating.

Battery Indicator

Different battery indicator colors indicate different battery levels:

  • Green: 65%~100%
  • Yellow: 25% ~ 65%
  • Red: 10%~25%
  • Flashing Red: Below 10% (Low battery alert, please charge.)

Charging Method

Use a USB-C cable and a 5V/2A power adapter (sold separately) to charge the air pump.

Charging Indicator:

  • Flashing green light: Charging
  • Solid green light: Fully charged

Note: The air pump cannot be used while charging.

Air Pressure Unit Switching

Briefly press the [Unit] button to switch the displayed air pressure unit.

Conversion formula: 1 BAR = 14.5 PSI.

LED Light

Press and hold the [Light] button to turn on the LED light. Press and hold again to turn it off.

Preset Air Pressure

Briefly press the [+] or [-] buttons to adjust the preset air pressure by 0.5 PSI per press.

Press and hold the [+] or [-] buttons to quickly set the desired preset air pressure.

Note: The device automatically saves the scene mode and preset pressure value. The next time you use it, the preset pressure will be automatically applied.

Checking Air Pressure

When the air pump is in standby mode and the air hose is connected to the inflatable object, the upper part of the pump's display will show the currently measured air pressure.

Diagram: Shows measured air pressure (e.g., 16.5) and preset air pressure (e.g., 38.0).

Resetting Pressure

If the measured pressure is not 0.0 when the air hose is not connected to an inflatable object after powering on, press and hold the [+] and [-] buttons simultaneously for 2 seconds. All screen lights will illuminate, and the display will return to normal.

Diagram: Shows pressing and holding the [+] and [-] buttons for 2 seconds to reset.

Note: Resetting the air pressure to default zero can improve barometric accuracy when the measured barometric value is not zero due to altitude or sensor differences. Calibration is not recommended at high temperatures.

Application Scene Switching

Briefly press the [Unit] button to select from 5 inflatable scene modes:

Scene ModeDefault Preset ValueAdjustable Range
Ballons (Balls)8 PSI2-15 PSI
Vélo (Bicycle)38 PSI2-150 PSI
Moto (Motorcycle)2.7 BAR0.1-3.7 BAR
Véhicule à Moteur (Motor Vehicle)2.4 BAR0.1-4.4 BAR
Personnaliser (Custom)100 PSI2-150 PSI

Inflation Pressure Check

For safety, check the required inflation pressure for the item being inflated according to its instruction manual before inflating to avoid injuries from over-inflation.

Tire Pressure Recommendations

  • Car Tires: The pressure range is marked on the tire sidewall. Inflation pressure depends on the load weight. Refer to the vehicle's manual for detailed recommendations.
  • Motorcycle Tires: The pressure range is marked on the tire sidewall. Inflation pressure depends on the load weight. Refer to the vehicle's manual for detailed recommendations.
  • Bicycle Tires: The pressure range is marked on the tire sidewall. Inflation pressure depends on the load weight. Refer to the bicycle's manual for detailed recommendations.
  • Balls: The inflation pressure for footballs, basketballs, volleyballs, and other balls is marked around the inflation hole. Inflation pressure depends on the load weight. Refer to the ball's manual for detailed recommendations.

Connecting the Air Hose to the Air Valve

Schrader Valves

MTBs, electric bikes, and motorcycles are typically equipped with Schrader valves. To inflate: Connect the Schrader valve to the American-style quick-connect air hose for inflation.

Diagram: Shows an American-style quick-connect hose connected to a Schrader valve.

Presta Valves

For inflating road bikes and some MTBs, a Presta valve adapter is required.

  1. Connect the Presta valve adapter to the high-pressure air hose's Schrader valve.
  2. Unscrew the Presta valve cap.
  3. Connect the Presta valve to the adapter for inflation.

Diagram: Shows a Presta valve adapter connected to the air hose, ready to attach to a Presta valve.

Ball Valves

Ball valves are needed to inflate balls like basketballs and footballs. Inflation: After connecting the ball valve to the Schrader valve on the air hose, insert the ball valve into the ball's inflation hole to inflate.

Diagram: Shows a ball valve connected to the air hose, inserted into a ball's inflation hole.

Mobile Power

The Lexin P5 smart air pump has a 5000 mAh battery. The USB-A 5V/2A output port can be used to charge electronic devices such as mobile phones.

Note: Inflation and charging cannot be performed simultaneously.

Troubleshooting

ProblemTroubleshooting Method
Slow Inflation
  1. Check if power is sufficient.
  2. Check for air leaks in the air hose.
  3. Ensure connections at both ends of the air hose are tight.
  4. Check if the inflatable item has air leaks.
Cannot Inflate
  1. Check if power is sufficient.
  2. Check if the current tire pressure exceeds the preset value.
Cannot Adjust Preset PressureEnsure the pump is in the correct inflation mode. Select the custom mode to adjust the preset value within the 3 to 150 Psi range.
Inflates Correctly but Pressure Reads Zero
  1. Low-pressure items, such as balls, may be outside the device's measurable range.
  2. For a flat tire, a short inflation time is needed for the tire pressure value to display.
Auto-stops After Connecting ValveThe pump will automatically shut off after 3 minutes. Press and hold the power button to turn it back on.
Air Leak at Hose ConnectionTighten the air hose.
Inconsistent Battery Indicator ColorThe lithium battery experiences a voltage drop during discharge, leading to inconsistent indicator colors between charging and standby states. This is not a defect.
Power Indicator Does Not Turn On After ChargingReplace with safe and compliant charging cables and adapters.
