The Lexin P5 Smart Air Pump package includes:
- Smart Air Pump unit
- American Style Quick Connect Trachea (Hose)
- Presta Valve Adapter
- Valve Needle for Balls
- USB-C Charging Cable
- Storage Bag
- User Guide

Basic Operation
Power On/Off
Press and hold the power button for 3 seconds to turn the air pump on or off.
Charging Method
Use the included USB-C cable and a 5V/2A power adapter to charge the pump. The battery indicator will flash green while charging and remain solid green when fully charged. The pump cannot be used while charging.
Battery Indicator
The battery indicator shows the remaining power:
- Green: 65% - 100%
- Yellow: 25% - 65%
- Red: 10% - 25%
- Flashing Red: Below 10% (Low battery alert, requires charging)
Air Pressure Unit Switching
Short press the 'U' icon button to cycle through different pressure units (e.g., PSI, BAR). Note: 1 BAR = 14.5 PSI.
LED Light
Press and hold the dedicated button until the LED light turns on. Press and hold again to turn it off.
Preset Air Pressure
Short press the [+] or [-] buttons to adjust the preset air pressure by 0.5 PSI increments. Long press these buttons for rapid adjustment. The device automatically saves the last used scene mode and its corresponding preset pressure value.
Check Air Pressure
When the pump is in standby mode and the hose is connected to an object, the upper half of the display screen shows the currently measured air pressure.
Pressure Reset
If the measured air pressure value is not 0.0 when the pump is powered on and the hose is not connected to an inflatable object, press and hold the [+] and [-] buttons simultaneously for 2 seconds. The display will confirm the reset. This manual reset can improve air pressure accuracy, especially due to altitude or sensor variations. Calibration is not recommended at high temperatures.
Application Scenes
The P5 Smart Air Pump offers preset modes for different inflation needs. Short press the mode button to cycle through these 5 modes:
Scene Mode | Preset Default Value | Adjustable Range |
---|---|---|
Balls | 8 PSI | 2-15 PSI |
Bike | 38 PSI | 2-150 PSI |
Motorcycle | 2.7 BAR | 0.1-3.7 BAR |
Motor Vehicle | 2.4 BAR | 0.1-4.4 BAR |
Customize | 100 PSI | 2-150 PSI |
Connecting the Air Trachea to the Air Valve
Ensure you use the correct connection method for your item:
Ball Valves
Required for inflating balls like basketballs and footballs. Connect the ball valve to the Schrader valve on the air hose, then insert the ball valve into the ball's gas-filled pore.
Schrader Valves
Commonly found on mountain bikes, electric bikes, motorcycles, and motor vehicles. Connect the Schrader valve directly to the American-style quick-connect trachea.
Presta Valves
Used for road bikes and some mountain bikes. Attach the Presta valve adapter to the Schrader valve of the air hose. Unscrew the cap of the Presta valve on the tire, then connect the tire's Presta valve to the adapter to inflate.
Power Bank Function
With its 5000mAh battery, the P5 can also charge electronic devices like mobile phones via its 5V/2A USB-A output port. Note: Inflation and charging cannot occur simultaneously.

Safety Precautions
Please observe the following safety guidelines:
- Do not leave the air pump unattended during inflation.
- Keep the pump away from flammable and explosive materials.
- Avoid exposing the pump to sand or dropping it.
- Do not store or use the product in extremely cold, hot, or humid conditions.
- The product contains a built-in lithium battery; do not throw it into fire or discard it improperly.
- Keep the product out of reach of children.
High Temperature Safety Precautions
After prolonged use, the air hose and its connection joint can become hot due to friction. Avoid touching them directly for extended periods to prevent burns.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with the Lexin P5 Smart Air Pump, consult the table below:
Problem | Exclusion Approach (Solution) |
---|---|
Inflate too slow | 1. Check if the power is sufficient. 2. Inspect the air hose for leaks. 3. Ensure connections at both ends of the hose are tight. 4. Check if the item being inflated has a leak. |
Unable to inflate | 1. Check if the power is sufficient. 2. Verify if the current tire pressure is already higher than the preset value. |
Unable to increase or decrease the preset pressure value | Check if the pump is in the correct inflation mode. Select the custom mode to adjust the preset value within the 3-150 PSI range. |
Inflates properly but pressure value shows zero | 1. Low-pressure items like balloons may be outside the device's measurable range. 2. For an empty tire, it may take a short period of inflation before the tire pressure value is displayed. |
Automatically shuts down after connecting the air hose | After tightening the air valve, the pump will automatically shut down after 3 minutes of inactivity. Press and hold the power button to turn it on again. |
There is a leak when connecting the trachea | Tighten the trachea connection securely. |
The color of the power indicator light in inflating state is inconsistent with that in the standby state | This is normal. The lithium battery experiences a voltage drop during discharge, causing the indicator color to appear inconsistent between charging and standby states. This is not a fault. |
The power indicator does not light up after charging | Replace with a safe and compliant charging cable and adapter, then attempt to recharge. |
