Air Pressure Unit Switching
Short press the U icon button to switch the air pressure display unit.
Unit conversion formula: 1 BAR = 14.5 PSI
LED Light
Press and hold the ❖ button until the LED light turns on. Long press it again to turn off.
Preset Air Pressure
Short press the +/- button: Adjusts the preset air pressure value by 0.5 PSI per press.
Long press +/- button: Allows for quick adjustment of the preset air pressure value.
Note: The device will automatically save the scene mode and the preset air pressure value. The next time the pump is used, only the scene needs to be switched, and the preset air pressure value will be automatically set.
Check The Air Pressure
When the air pump is in standby status, after the trachea is connected to the air pressure detection object, the upper half of the air pump display screen will show the present measured air pressure value.
Example Display:
Measured air pressure: 16.5 PSI
Preset air pressure: 38.0 PSI
The display shows two main numerical values: the top one for measured air pressure and the bottom one for preset air pressure, along with unit indicators (PSI, BAR, KPA, Kg/cm²).
Pressure Reset
After power on, if the trachea is not connected to the inflatable object and the measured pressure value is not 0.0, press the + and - buttons at the same time for 2 seconds. The display will return to normal (all lights on) after this action.
Visual representation: A hand icon pressing both the '+' and '-' buttons simultaneously on the device display for 2 seconds.
Note: The default air pressure value of this product has been reset to zero. Due to differences in altitude or sensor, if the measured air pressure value is not zero, manual reset can improve air pressure accuracy. Calibration is not recommended at high temperatures.
Application Scene Switching
Short press the ❖ button to select 5 inflatable scene modes:
Scene Mode | Preset Default Value | Adjustable Range |
---|---|---|
⚽ Balls | 8 PSI | 2-15 PSI |
? Bike | 38 PSI | 2-150 PSI |
?️ Motorcycle | 2.7 BAR | 0.1-3.7 BAR |
? Motor Vehicle | 2.4 BAR | 0.1-4.4 BAR |
⚙️ Customize | 100 PSI | 2-150 PSI |
Verify Inflating Pressure
To ensure safety, users should check the inflation pressure required by the item being inflated according to its instruction manual before inflating. This helps avoid personal injury from explosion caused by excessive inflation.
Car Tires
The pressure range for car tires is marked on the side of the tire. Inflation pressure is related to load weight. For more detailed air pressure recommendations, refer to the manual of the relevant vehicle.
Visual representation: A tire icon.
Motorcycle Tires
The pressure range for motorcycle tires is marked on the side of the tire. Inflation pressure is related to load weight. For more detailed air pressure recommendations, refer to the manual of the relevant vehicle.

Bicycle Tires
The pressure range for bicycle tires is marked on the side of the tire. Inflation pressure is related to load weight. For more detailed air pressure recommendations, refer to the manual of the relevant vehicle.

Balls
The inflation pressure for footballs, basketballs, volleyballs, and other kinds of balls is marked around the gas-filled pore. Inflation pressure is related to load weight. For more detailed air pressure recommendations, refer to the manual of the relevant ball.

Schrader Valves
Mountain bikes, electric bikes, motorcycles, and motor vehicles are typically equipped with Schrader valves.
Inflation: Connect the Schrader valve to the American-style quick-connect trachea to inflate.
Visual representation: A diagram showing the Smart Pump P5 connected via its American quick-connect trachea to a Schrader valve. The Schrader valve is depicted as a standard tire valve stem.
Presta Valves
When inflating road bikes and some mountain bikes, a Presta valve adapter is needed.
Inflation Steps:
- Connect the Presta valve adapter to the Schrader valve of the high-pressure air trachea.
- Unscrew the cap of the Presta valve.
- Connect the Presta valve to the adapter to inflate.
Visual representation: A diagram showing the Smart Pump P5 connected via its American quick-connect trachea to a Presta valve adapter, which is then connected to a Presta valve. The Presta valve is depicted with its cap unscrewed.
Ball Valves
Ball valves are needed when inflating balls such as basketballs and soccer balls.
Inflation: After connecting the ball valve with the Schrader valve of the air trachea, insert the ball valve into the gas-filled pore on the ball to inflate.

Troubleshooting
Problems | Exclusion Approach |
---|---|
Inflate too slow |
|
Unable to inflate |
|
Unable to increase or decrease the preset pressure value | Check if the pump is in correct inflation mode. Select the custom mode to adjust the preset value in the range of 3-150 PSI. |
Inflates properly but pressure value shows zero |
|
After tightening the air valve, the air pump has automatically shut down | It will automatically shut down after 3 minutes. Long press the power button to turn it on again. |
There is a leak when connecting the trachea | Tighten the trachea. |
The color of the power indicator light in inflating state is inconsistent with that in the standby state | The lithium battery has a significant voltage drop during the discharge process, which leads to the phenomenon that the color of the indicator light in charging state and the standby state are inconsistent. This phenomenon is not a fault. |
The power indicator does not light up after charging | Replace a safe and compliant charging cable and adapter to recharge it. |
