Additional Safety Precautions
To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury to persons:
- Use only insulated staples or plastic ties to secure cords.
- Route and secure cords so they are not pinched or damaged when the cabinet is pushed to the wall.
- Position the portable cabinet light so that information regarding lamp replacement can be read during relamping.
- Not intended for recessed installation in ceilings or soffits.
- The low-voltage portable cabinet light may be installed inside or under a kitchen cabinet or other built-in furniture when:
- The low-voltage Class 2 power supply is located outside the cabinet and is not concealed; and
- The line voltage power supply cord is not concealed or run through openings in the cabinet, walls, ceilings, or floors. This requirement does not apply to the wiring between the cabinet light and the power unit.
- The National Electric Code (NEC) does not permit cords to be concealed where damage to insulation may go unnoticed.
- To prevent fire danger, do not run cords behind walls, ceilings, soffits, or cabinets where they may be inaccessible for examination.
- Cords should be visually examined periodically and immediately replaced when any damage is noted.
Mounting Surface Warning
Injury to persons and damage to the lamp and/or the mounting surface may result if the lamp is pulled from the surface. To reduce the likelihood of such injury or damage, mount only on a surface that is mechanically sound and suitable.
Electrical Specifications
Use only IKEA LED drivers suited for this product. The total wattage of the lamps connected to one LED driver must not exceed the maximum power stated on that LED driver and never more than 30W.

Assembly Instructions
Parts Included:
- 2x Screws
- 1x Tool/Adapter
- 2x Mounting Rails (long, curved profile)
- 2x Mounting Rails (long, flat profile)
Step 1: Mark Mounting Points
Determine the desired location for the light fixture. Mark two points on the mounting surface at a distance 'x' from each other, as indicated in the diagram.
Step 2: Drill Pilot Holes
Drill pilot holes at the marked points. The required drill bit size is 8 mm (5/16 inches). The diagram shows a drill and a pencil for marking.
Step 3: Attach Mounting Rails
Align the two long, curved mounting rails with the drilled holes. Secure the rails to the surface using screws. The diagram shows a close-up of a screw being inserted and tightened.
Step 4: Mount Lamp Base
Align the lamp base with the attached mounting rails. Insert screws (2x) through the lamp base and into the rails to secure it. The diagram shows the lamp base being positioned and screws being tightened with a screwdriver.
Step 5: Connect Light Fixture
Connect the main light fixture to the mounted bracket. Push the light fixture upwards until it clicks into place, indicating a secure connection. The diagram shows the light fixture being pushed upwards and a close-up indicating the 'Click!' connection.
Step 6: Route Power Cable
Route the power cable from the light fixture along the cabinet or desired path. The diagram shows the cable being guided and connected to a power unit or junction.
Step 7: Connect Power
Connect the power cable to the light fixture. Push the connector until it clicks securely. The diagram shows the cable connector being plugged into the light fixture and a close-up indicating the 'Click!' connection and a hand gesture for safe handling.
Additional Installation Notes
If required, drill a hole of approximately 78 mm (3 inches) diameter for cable pass-through.
Ensure the light is securely mounted on a suitable and stable surface.
Important Note on Components
The LED driver and power supply cord are sold separately.
System Diagram
A diagram illustrates how multiple MITTLED LED lights can be connected in series to a single LED driver, which is then connected to a power outlet. This shows a typical setup for illuminating multiple cabinet sections.
