Installation and Safety Instructions
⚠️ Important Safety Instructions
For indoor use only.
Regularly check the cord, the transformer, and all other parts for damage. If any part is damaged, the product should not be used.
Important information! Keep these instructions for future use.
The light source of this luminaire is not replaceable; when the light source reaches its end of life, the whole luminaire shall be replaced.
⚠️ ONLY USE A SAFETY TRANSFORMER WITH A SELV OUTPUT AS A SUPPLY FOR THE PRODUCT.
Use only IKEA LED drivers suited for this product. The total wattage of the lamps connected to one LED driver must not exceed the maximum power stated on that LED driver and never more than 30W.
⚠️ Cord Safety Warning
WARNING – Strangulation hazard.
NEVER place cord within reach of a child in a cot or playpen. ALWAYS secure cord to wall or cabinet. Check regularly that the cord is securely fastened. Pull the cord to remove any slack between fasteners. Tie up any remaining slack cord between driver and socket.
Assembly Instructions
Components and Tools
The following components and tools are typically required for assembly:
- MITTLED LED Luminaire
- Mounting Brackets (quantity may vary based on installation)
- Screws (for mounting brackets)
- Connectors (for linking multiple luminaires)
- Safety Transformer with SELV Output (sold separately)
- IKEA LED Drivers (sold separately)
- Power Supply Cord (sold separately)
- Screwdriver (Phillips head and/or flat head)
- Scissors (for cutting tape/labels if applicable)
Step 1: Prepare Mounting Location
Identify the desired mounting location, typically the underside of a cabinet or shelf. Ensure the surface is clean and suitable for mounting.
Step 2: Attach Mounting Brackets
Position the mounting brackets on the prepared surface. Use screws to securely fasten the brackets. Ensure they are aligned correctly for the light bar.

Step 3: Install Luminaire
Align the MITTLED luminaire with the attached mounting brackets.
Gently push the luminaire upwards until it clicks into place on the brackets.

Step 4: Connect Multiple Luminaires (if applicable)
If installing multiple luminaires, use the provided connectors to link them together.
Slide the connector into the designated port on one luminaire.
Slide the next luminaire onto the other end of the connector until it clicks securely.

Step 5: Connect Power
Connect the power supply cord to the LED driver (sold separately).
Connect the LED driver to the luminaire.
Connect the safety transformer (SELV output) to the power supply cord.

Step 6: Secure Wiring
Ensure all cords are neatly managed and secured to prevent hazards. Follow the specific instructions for cord management to avoid strangulation risks, especially in areas accessible to children.
