This product is intended for indoor use only.
Regularly check the cord, transformer, and all other parts for damage. Do not use the product if any part is damaged.
Important Information: Keep these instructions for future use.
- The light source of this luminaire is not replaceable; when the light source reaches its end of life, the entire luminaire must be replaced.
- The external flexible cable or cord cannot be replaced. If the cord is damaged, the luminaire must be destroyed.
- ONLY USE A SAFETY TRANSFORMER WITH A SELV (Safety Extra Low Voltage) OUTPUT as the power supply for this product.
- Use only IKEA LED drivers suitable for this product. The total wattage of lamps connected to one LED driver must not exceed the maximum power stated on that driver and must never exceed 30W.
Caution:
Do not cover. The lamp gets hot and may cause a fire.
Warning:
This is an electric lamp, not a toy! To avoid the risk of fire, burns, personal injury, and electric shock, it should not be played with or placed where small children can reach it.
Strangulation Hazard:
Never place the cord within reach of a child in a cot or playpen. Always secure the cord to a wall or cabinet. Check regularly that the cord is securely fastened. Pull the cord to remove any slack between fasteners. Tie up any remaining slack cord between the driver and socket.
Assembly Instructions
Follow these steps carefully for assembly:
- Preparation: Wipe the surface where the tape will be applied with a clean, dry cloth.
- Mounting Tape: The assembly tape is permanent and not intended for removal. Attempting to remove it may damage the surface underneath the lamp.
- Fasteners: Keep any unused fittings for future use.
- Attach Bracket: Secure the mounting bracket to the desired surface using the provided screws (2x).
- Attach Fixture: Peel the backing off the mounting tape on the light fixture's bracket and attach it to the prepared surface.
- Connect Power: Connect the power adapter to the light fixture. The power adapter and cord are sold separately.
- Electrical Connection: Connect the light fixture to a power outlet using an appropriate IKEA LED driver and power supply cord (sold separately).
- Daisy-Chaining: A maximum of 6 units can be connected together.
- Adjustability: The luminaire's flexible arm allows for adjustment. It can be angled up to 180 degrees. Do not attempt to rotate it 360 degrees.
