General Product Information

Product Function and Intended Use

The EUT (equipment under test) is an ordinary self-ballasted LED lamp for lighting and similar use. Refer to the user's manual for further information.

Ratings and System Details

Independent Operation Modes

The basic operation modes are "ON" and "OFF". The test modes were:

Highest Frequency Generated or Used

The highest frequency used in the EUT is 2480 MHz.

Test Set-up and Operation Modes

Principle of Configuration Selection

For emission testing, the EUT was configured to measure its highest possible emission level under conditions adapted from the instructions for use. Tests were performed on 2025-03-27 for both conducted and radiated emissions.

Equipment and Cable Arrangement

Conducted Emission Setup: The setup includes the EUT, Line Impedance Stabilization Network (LISN), EMI receiver, computer, transformer, and power supply. The EUT is placed on a wooden support, 0.8m from the AMN. Excess cable is folded to a length of 0.3-0.4m.

Radiated Emission Setup (30-1000 MHz): The setup involves the EUT on a turntable, an antenna, and an EMI receiver. The test distance is 3m. The antenna height is varied from 1m to 4m, and the turntable rotates 360°.

Radiated Emission Setup (1-18 GHz): The setup includes the EUT on a turntable, absorbers, and an antenna. The test distance is 3m. The antenna height is varied from 1m to 4m, and the turntable rotates 360°.

Test Software

The "Home" APP for iPhone was used during the tests.

Countermeasures to Achieve EMC Compliance

No special measures were employed to achieve the requirement.

Conformity Decision Rule

For all EMI tests, compliance is determined by comparing measurement results directly with limits, as measurement uncertainties are less than specified values (CISPR 16-4-2). Measurement uncertainty is not taken into account.

Test Results - Emission

Emission in the Frequency Range up to 30 MHz (Conducted Emission)

Test Procedure: FCC 47 CFR Part 15, Subpart B:2023, ICES-005:2018, ICES-003:2020, ANSI C63.4-2014 and CISPR 16-2-1

Frequency Range: 0.15 – 30 MHz

Limits: Quasi-peak: 0.15-0.5 MHz (66-56 dBμV), 0.5-5 MHz (56 dBμV), 5-30 MHz (60 dBμV). Average: 0.15-0.5 MHz (56-46 dBμV), 0.5-5 MHz (46 dBμV), 5-30 MHz (50 dBμV).

Test Site: Shielded room

Input Voltage: AC 120 V, 60 Hz

Ambient Conditions: Temperature: 22.6 °C; Relative humidity: 53.2 %

Expanded Uncertainty (k=2): 2.33 dB

The minimum margin to the limit is 3.18 dB. The measurement setup used standard equipment and procedures. Disturbance voltage was measured on the neutral and phase lines. The spectral diagrams show Quasi-Peak and Average values against limits.

Radiated Emission (1-18 GHz)

Test Procedure: FCC 47 CFR Part 15, Subpart B:2023, ICES-005:2018, ICES-003:2020, ANSI C63.4-2014 and CISPR 16-2-3

Product Classification: Class B

Limits (3m distance): Peak: 1–18 GHz (74 dBμV/m); Average: 1–18 GHz (54 dBμV/m).

Test Site: Absorber-lined semi-anechoic chamber

Test Distance: 3 m

Test Voltage: AC 120 V, 60 Hz

Ambient Conditions: Temperature: 23.2 °C; Relative humidity: 52.8 %

Expanded Uncertainty (k=2): 5.17 dB (1-6 GHz), 5.12 dB (6-18 GHz)

The minimum margin to the limit is 10.32 dB. The test was performed with the antenna in horizontal and vertical polarizations, with the EUT on an 80 cm supporting table, rotated 360°, and antenna height varied from 1m to 4m.
