The EUT (Equipment Under Test) is an ordinary self-ballasted LED lamp with a wireless dimming function for lighting and similar applications. Refer to the user's manual for further details.

Test Set-up and Operation Modes

3.1 Principle of Configuration Selection

For emission testing, the EUT was configured to measure its highest possible emission level. Test conditions were adapted according to the instructions for use. Testing sequence included conducted emission tests (2025-04-11) and radiated emission tests (2025-04-10 to 2025-04-11).

3.2 Equipment and Cable Arrangement

Conducted Emission Setup: A block diagram illustrates the setup including the EUT, a Line Impedance Stabilization Network (LISN), an EMI receiver, a computer, a transformer, and a power supply. The EUT is positioned 0.8m from the LISN, with excess cable folded.

Radiated Emission Setup (30-1000 MHz): A diagram shows the EUT on a turntable, an antenna at a distance of 3m, and associated test equipment. The setup is within a test chamber, with antenna height adjustable from 1m to 4m.

Radiated Emission Setup (1-18 GHz): A diagram depicts the EUT on a turntable, surrounded by absorbers, with an antenna at a distance of 3m and associated test equipment within a test chamber.

The "Home" APP for iPhone was used during the tests.

Conformity Decision Rule

For all EMI tests, compliance is determined by comparing measurement results directly with limits, without considering measurement uncertainties, as the uncertainties are less than the values specified in CISPR 16-4-2. This is based on the "Zero Guard Band Rule" and "Simple Acceptance" principles.

The test setup followed ANSI C63.4-2014 in a shielded room, using compliant test receivers, quasi-peak detectors, and artificial mains networks (AMN). The EUT was placed on an 80 cm wooden support, 0.8m from the AMN. Excess power cord was folded to a length of 0.3-0.4m. Disturbance voltage was tested on neutral and phase lines.
