Product Description

The IKEA ROLFSTORP is an LED luminaire designed for versatile use, offering adjustable lighting. It can be powered by batteries or connected via USB.

Installation Guide

Follow these steps for installation:

1. Mounting Brackets: Prepare the included mounting brackets.
2. Marking: Position the luminaire and mark bracket locations on the wall or cabinet, ensuring a minimum clearance of 8 cm (3 1/5").
3. Secure Brackets: Fasten the brackets firmly to the chosen surface.
4. Attach Luminaire: Connect the ROLFSTORP luminaire to the mounted brackets.
5. Cable Management: Securely fasten the power cord to the wall or cabinet, ensuring it is taut and tidy, especially between the driver and socket.

Diagrams (Pages 16-18) illustrate marking installation points with minimum clearance, attaching brackets, and securing the luminaire. Cable management is also shown.

Operation and Charging

Battery Power:

1. Open the battery compartment using a screwdriver.
2. Insert 3x AA 1.2V 2450mAh LADDA rechargeable batteries, observing polarity.
3. Close the compartment securely.
4. Use the ON/OFF switch on the luminaire.

USB Power & Charging:

1. Connect the USB cable to a SELV-compliant power adapter or USB port.
2. Connect the other end of the USB cable to the luminaire.
3. The luminaire indicates charging status.

Light Modes & Battery Life:

Adjust lighting by pressing the button:

• Short press (approx. 0.5 sec): Adjusts brightness/mode, providing up to 2 hours of light with LADDA 2450mAh batteries.
• Longer press (approx. 1.5 sec): Activates other settings, providing up to 4 hours or 12 hours of light.

Diagrams (Pages 19-22) show battery insertion (3x AA 1.2V 2450mAh LADDA), USB connection to power and luminaire, ON/OFF switch operation, charging indicators, and button press durations (0.5s, 1.5s) corresponding to different battery life outputs (2h, 4h, 12h). A screwdriver is shown for battery compartment access.
