Crack the Code Event: General Terms and Conditions

The organizer of the event is IKEA Furnishing Ltd, registered seat at 1148 Budapest, Örs vezér tere 22. IKEA Furnishing Ltd. is a member of the Ingka Group, offering furniture, home accessories, and services.

Aim of the Activity

A "Crack the Code" game is organized in the store's atrium for IKEA Family members. Participants can win prizes by correctly answering questions related to IKEA.

Event Procedure: Code-breaking

Visitors can inquire about the game and participation rules from IKEA Family hostesses at the entrance.

The customer presents their IKEA Family card to the hostess, who registers the card number.

Participants will receive 4 questions related to IKEA's history. Each correct answer yields a number. These numbers, entered sequentially, form a code to unlock a prize box.

The customer draws a paper slip symbolizing the prize from the box and presents it to the hostess to receive the prize.

Prizes:

• 5 x 35,000 HUF gift cards
• 5 x 3,500 HUF gift cards
• 20 hot-dog coupons
• 5 restaurant vouchers
• 15 Swedish coffee break vouchers
• 50 KUPONG watches
• 200 FRAKTA keychains

Conditions for Participation

• IKEA Family membership is required.
• Each player can participate only once.
• The game runs as long as prizes are available.
• IKEA employees who are IKEA Family members can participate outside of working hours.

Mixed Provisions

By participating, the legal representative of the event participant automatically accepts these regulations and waives any legal remedy against the Organizer or third parties regarding the game's execution, prizes, and winners.

Winners are entitled to claim quality defects of prizes within the scope of the IKEA guarantee. Restaurant vouchers are valid for 90 days.

Organizers reserve the right to change these provisions, including stopping, suspending, or terminating the game at any time.

Participants who do not comply with the rules, manipulate the game, or act in bad faith will be excluded without notice. Organizer's decisions are final.

IKEA may take pictures of participants, stored on IKEA servers for use until 03.22.2026.

IKEA is supported by an external partner, Gifie Rendezvényszervező vállalat, located at 1095 Budapest, Soroksári út 110-112.

Safety and Conduct

Attendees must follow the instructions and warnings of employees for safety.

Participants must comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and house rules.

Participation is at the participant's own risk. Organizers are not liable for accidents on the premises.

Individuals under the influence of alcohol or narcotics are not allowed. Smoking is strictly forbidden, except in designated areas.

No pets or other animals are allowed, except as per General Rules.

Commercial activities, promotions, illegal gambling, and unauthorized sound/image recording are prohibited.

Entry into cordoned-off areas is forbidden. Organizers reserve the right to take action to maintain order. Malicious damage incurs financial liability.

Organizers are not liable for assets kept on the premises or in safe deposit boxes.

Participation with cigarettes, paper bags, plastic cups, sparklers, firecrackers, backpacks, sticks, or other accident-prone objects is strictly forbidden.

Any accidents must be reported to the Security Service office.

Violation of house rules leads to exclusion. Entry implies acceptance of these terms and rules.

Information on Personal Data Management

IKEA Furnishing Ltd. (1148 Budapest, Örs vezér tere 22.) is the data controller.

Personal data is processed for event registration and participation. Recipients include commissioned companies involved in the event.

Processing is based on voluntary consent. Refusal to provide data means non-participation.

Personal data will be stored by IKEA Furnishing Ltd. until 03.22.2026. The Local Marketing department is responsible for deletion.

Participants have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, data portability, and object to data processing. These rights can be exercised via the contact details provided.

Complaints can be submitted to the Hungarian National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (www.naih.hu).

Consent can be withdrawn at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing prior to withdrawal.
