Product Configuration

The WiFi Smart Water Valve comprises several components:

2. Appearance Description
The valve features a robust design with clearly marked ports for water inlet and outlet. It includes a reset button and an indicator light for status.

Notes:
- The minimum water temperature detection is -10℃. The valve cannot switch if the water temperature is below 0℃ and frozen.
- Ensure waterproof tape is used during installation to prevent leaks.
- Recommended installation location: indoor main water inlet.
- Shut off the main water supply before installation and turn it back on only after installation is complete.
LED State Indicators
The device has indicator lights to show its status:
- Bluetooth/Smart Wi-Fi/AP Compatible Mode: The indicator light flashes once every 2 seconds.
- Water Valve Switch Status: The water valve switch indicator light is flashing (blue for ON / red for OFF).
- Reset Button Indicator: When powered on, the device is in default standby mode (flashing blue). If the indicator is abnormal, press the reset button for 6 seconds. The reset button indicator will flash slowly, indicating the device is waiting for configuration.
Tip: The device can be powered by a power bank.
Getting Started
Download and Install the App
Download the "Smart life" app from the App Store or Google Play to your mobile device.
Register and Login
- Run the "Smart life" application from your smartphone.
- Register for an account and log in.
Adding the Device
The device defaults to standby mode (slow flash) upon power-on. If the indicator is not on, press the reset key for 6 seconds to reset and add the device.
Note: All Wi-Fi products can be added with any Wi-Fi device. The device only supports the 2.4GHz Wi-Fi signal. This manual uses a Wi-Fi socket as an example for adding devices.
Method 1: Add via Bluetooth (Recommended)
Activate Bluetooth on your mobile phone. The device can be added via Bluetooth mode when in standby mode.
Alternatively, after activating Bluetooth, enter the APP interface. The device will be automatically searched by Bluetooth, and then you can click to add it.
Method 2: Add via Wi-Fi Mode
Press the reset button until the device flashes slowly (indicating pending distribution mode), then add the device by following the APP prompts.
Method 3: Add via AP Compatible Mode
Press the reset button until the device flashes slowly (indicating pending distribution mode), then add the device by following the APP prompts.
Installation
1. Water Pipe Installation
Prepare Tools: You will need a spanner and a hexagon bar.
Installation Steps:
- Wrap the water pipe connector with waterproof tape.
- Connect the adapter to the municipal water pipe.
- Tighten the water pipe connector using the inner hexagon of the tool.
- Wrap the water valve copper pipe with waterproof tape.
- Put the silicone pad into the water pipe connector, then dock the water valve copper pipe.
- Install the other side of the water valve using the same method.
- Tighten the adapter nuts with the wrench.
- Single-sided installation is now completed.
2. Power Installation
- Check the power supply interface slot, paying attention to the power concave-convex groove during connection.
- Align the interface, press the power supply firmly, and rotate the nut clockwise.
- Turn on the power supply; installation is finished.
Functions and Settings
The app provides control over the valve's main functions, working status, and records.
1. APP Main Interface
The main interface displays key information:
- ? Water Temperature
- ?️ Water Pressure
- ? Water Valve Flow Rate
- ? Valve Status (ON/OFF)
- ? Total Water Consumption
2. Water Quantity Record
View your water usage history by day, month, and year.
3. Water Leakage Self-Inspection
Perform a one-key check for water leakage. If leakage is detected, it will be reported immediately.
4. Alarm/Display Settings
- Water Consumption Reset Switch: Clear the total recorded water consumption.
- Alarm Switches: Enable or disable alarms for water temperature, pressure, and flow rate.
- Alarm Records: View historical records for water temperature, pressure, water consumption, and water leakage alarms.
5. Setting Temperature, Pressure, and Flow Units
- Configure temperature units between ℃ and ℉.
- Set pressure units to PSI or kPa.
- Choose flow units from gal/h or m³/h.
Other Functions
1. Share Device
- Single Device Sharing: Share control of the valve with one user.
- Family Group Sharing: Share the device with multiple family members.
2. Product Linkage
This feature allows for linking the water valve with other smart home devices for automated actions.
3. Push Notification Management
Control app push notifications. Turning off the switch prevents all devices in the app from receiving push notifications, though alarm messages can still be viewed in the message center.
4. Clear Records
Support clearing the device's history by deleting the device from the app.
