How to Use
Step 1: Prepare the Device
Push the mounting bracket downward and take out the bracket, then insert the battery. Diagram showing the mounting bracket being detached from the main unit, and an arrow indicating battery insertion.
Step 2: Insert Batteries
Put the batteries into the battery bin and place them according to the graphics in the battery bin. After two batteries are loaded, the indicator lights are always on and then off. Step 3: Download the App
Download the TUYA Smart APP from the App Store or Google Play Store, or scan the provided QR code. A QR code is provided for downloading the TUYA Smart APP for iOS and Android.
Step 4: Register and Add Device
Register with your mobile phone number. On the 'My Home' interface, click the '+' icon or 'Add Devices' in the middle blank. Step 5: Network Connection (Automatic Mode)
With the card pick-up pin in the accessory package, hold the reset key for more than 5 seconds, and the indicator flashes into the automatic network connection mode. Enter the Wi-Fi password according to the prompt, and click to confirm. A hand holding a small pin to press a reset button on the water leakage sensor. The sensor is white and rectangular.
Step 6: Network Connection (AP Mode)
In the automatic network connection mode, the indicator flashes quickly. To switch to manual network connection mode (AP Mode), hold the reset key for 5 seconds with the card pick-up pin; the indicator flashes slowly. The APP will prompt to choose 'AP Mode' and then 'compatible mode'. Enter the 'Wi-Fi password' and click confirmation. Then, switch to the Wi-Fi settings interface on your phone. Step 7: Pairing Success and Testing
Network pairing is successful. Click the water drop button to enter the interface. Place the sensor probe into water. The water drop logo will show 'Water is detected'.
