3. Installation Guide
- Install the bracket onto the installation ear of the smart valve controller. Do not fully tighten the screw at this stage.
- Fix the mounting bracket onto the water pipe or gas pipe. [Diagram: Mounting bracket installation on pipe].
- Adjust the position of the smart valve controller so that its output axis is aligned with the axis of the "water/gas pipe" valve handle. [Diagram: Axis alignment].
- Tighten the screws at both ends of the mounting bracket.
- After installing the smart valve controller, manually pull down the clutch pull ring [Icon: ?] and swing the smart valve controller transfer handle. Check if the valve switch operates correctly.
- Tighten the screw of the smart valve controller handle clip according to the diagram. [Diagram: Handle clip screw tightening].
- Connect the 12V/1A power adapter.
4. Guidelines for Use
- Scan the QR code to download the "Smart Life" APP. Install and open the APP, then follow its instructions to register an account. [Icon: [QR Code]].
- Add Equipment: Click the add icon [Icon: ➕]. Select "Other Equipment". Press the top of the controller for approximately 5 seconds until the indicator light flashes quickly [Icon: ?]. The smart valve controller will enter the pairing network state. Follow the on-screen prompts to input the WIFI password and complete the pairing process.
- The default state of the valve controller after pairing is 'closed'. The controller can be switched as needed.
- When the controller is opened, the indicator light [Icon: ?] remains constantly on.
- When the valve is closed, the indicator lights [Icon: ?] are off.
- You can manually press the button [Icon: ?] to switch the valve, or use the mobile phone APP.
- The product supports setting functions such as timing, sharing, and linkage. Please refer to the APP's detailed description for advanced usage.
- After successful pairing, pressing the button [Icon: ?] for about 5 seconds again will cause the LED indicator light [Icon: ?] to flash quickly, clearing the original pairing information and allowing a new pairing process.
- To control the smart valve controller with multiple mobile devices, use the APP's sharing function to allocate access to other accounts.
- In the absence of WIFI, the controller can still operate the valve (open or close) by pressing the button [Icon: ?]. When the valve is closed, pressing the button opens it. When the valve is open, pressing the button closes it.
- If the power is disconnected, pull down the clutch pull ring [Icon: ?] located beneath the smart valve controller and swing the transfer handle to manually open or close the valve.
5. Failure Guide
- Valve controller switch not in place: Verify that the smart valve controller's axis center is aligned with the valve's center axis. Misalignment can lead to improper valve switching and potentially damage the controller's motor.
- Valve switch is stuck: Pull down the clutch pull ring [Icon: ?] and swing the smart valve controller's handle by 90 degrees until the valve can be switched smoothly. If the valve is excessively tight, it is recommended to replace the valve.
- Smart valve controller cannot be paired into the network: Ensure the WIFI signal is adequate. During the pairing process, keep the smart valve controller as close to the router as possible.
