Introduction
The Bio-Rad CFX Connect™ Real-Time PCR Detection System is essential laboratory equipment for researchers conducting polymerase chain reaction (PCR) for applications such as sequencing, cloning, gene expression studies, and mutagenesis. This system offers excellent thermal performance for two-target multiplex PCR and routine detection of single fluorophore experiments. Its adjustable heated lid accommodates a variety of vessels and sealers, including low-profile and standard-height PCR plates.
This guide provides comprehensive instructions on setting up and using the CFX Connect system for sensitive quantitative PCR.
Getting Started
For detailed information on site requirements, including benchspace, environment, and power specifications, please refer to Chapter 2 of this guide. Proper setup ensures optimal performance and longevity of the instrument.
