Usage and Exercise Guidelines

Important Checks

IMPORTANT: Because your trainer will/can set in the first using hours, we recommend you do a quick check on the hardware you have fitted during your assembly. We suggest tightening all bolts and nuts once again after the first few workout sessions (approximate 10 hours). Just to assure the bolts and nuts are still tightened well for your trainer's best performance.

NOTE: We recommend checking the hardware regularly, at least once every 3 months.

Weight Plate Storage Bars

  • When using the weight-plates storage bars for weight plates, do make sure to use sufficient locking supports to secure your weight plates at all times.
  • When storing weight-plates on the storage bars, do make sure you divide the weigh-plates evenly over the left and right side.
  • Never exceed the maximum weight capacity of the weight plate storage bar.

Building Muscle and Gaining Weight

Unlike aerobic exercise, which emphasizes endurance training, anaerobic exercise focuses on strength training. A gradual weight gain can occur while building the size and strength of muscles. Your body adapts to the stress placed upon it. You can modify your diet to include foods such as meat, fish and vegetables. These foods help muscles recover and replenish important nutrients after a strenuous workout.

Muscle Strength and Endurance

To achieve the greatest benefit from exercise, develop an exercise program that allows you to work all major muscle groups equally. To increase muscle strength: increase resistance and maintain repetitions. To tone your body: decrease resistance and increase repetitions.

Training Intensity

Training intensity depends on your fitness level. Soreness can be lessened by decreasing load and performing fewer sets. To avoid injury, gradually work into the program and adjust load to your fitness level. Load should increase as fitness level increases. Muscle soreness is common initially; prolonged soreness may indicate a need to change the program. Your muscle system will eventually become accustomed to the stress.

Beginning a Strength Building Program

  • Warming Up: 5-10 minutes of stretching and light exercise to prepare the body, increase circulation, raise body temperature, and develop more oxygen to muscles.
  • Workout: Be mindful that prolonged muscle soreness is not desirable and may mean injury has occurred.
  • Cool Down: At the end of each workout, perform slow stretching exercises for 5-10 minutes to allow muscles to wind down.
  • Aerobic Exercise: It is recommended that 2-3 days of aerobic exercise be performed in addition to strength training.

Drinking Water

Stay hydrated. Increase fluid intake during exercise as water is lost through sweating. Replace lost water for proper muscle recovery.

Rest Day

Take at least one rest day per week for body healing. Continuous training can lead to overtraining.

Cleaning and Maintenance

  • Lubricate moving parts periodically with WD-40 or light oil.
  • Inspect and tighten all parts before using the equipment.
  • Clean the equipment with a damp cloth and mild non-abrasive detergent. DO NOT use solvents.
  • Examine the equipment regularly for signs of damage or wear.
  • Replace any defective components immediately or keep the equipment out of use until repair.
  • Failure to examine regularly may affect the safety level of the equipment.

If the equipment does not function properly, immediately contact the dealer. Provide the model number and serial number, nature of the problem, conditions of use, and purchase date.
