Exercise Guidelines:
- Building Muscle & Gaining Weight: Anaerobic exercise focuses on strength training. A gradual weight gain can occur with muscle growth. Adjust your diet to include protein-rich foods for muscle recovery.
- Muscle Strength & Endurance: Develop a balanced exercise program. Increase resistance for strength; decrease resistance and increase repetitions for toning. Adapt resistance, reps, or speed as you become comfortable. Aim for 15-20 repetitions per set for both strength and endurance.
- Training Intensity: Start training based on your current fitness level. Gradually increase the load as your fitness improves. Listen to your body; if you experience persistent pain, reduce the load or consult a physician.
