7. Camera Installation ?
- Fix the bracket to the desired installation location using the supplied screws.
- Fasten the camera onto the metal mount and secure it.
- Adjust the viewing angle of the camera. The camera lens supports horizontal rotation of 355° and vertical rotation of 120°. You can fine-tune the orientation using the PTZ controls in the application (holding down up, down, left, and right).
Visual Description: Diagrams illustrate the camera being mounted onto a bracket, showing the bracket's screw holes and the camera's tilt adjustment.
8. Important Notes ⚠️
To reduce false alarms, please observe the following:
- Do not install the camera facing strong lights, mirrors, windows, or swimming pools.
- Avoid placing the camera too close to busy traffic areas. The recommended distance between the camera and motion objects is within 32ft.
- Keep the camera away from outlets, including air conditioner vents, humidifier outlets, and projector heat transfer vents.
- Keep the camera at least 1 meter away from any wireless devices (e.g., microwave ovens, Wi-Fi routers) to prevent interference.
9. Monitoring Area ?️
- It is not suggested to install the camera vertically towards moving objects, as this may lead to missed motion events or delays.
- It is recommended to set the angle between the PIR Sensor and detected objects to be more than 10 degrees.
- The camera's motion sensor is more sensitive to side-to-side movement across its field of view than to movement directly toward or away from the camera.
Suggestions:
- The best downward tilt angle of the lens is 15° for optimal alarm detection range.
- Recommended installation height is 8-10 feet above the ground, which provides a detection distance up to 40 feet.
Visual Description: Diagrams show detection coverage zones based on downward tilt angles (10° and 15°) and recommended installation heights.

12. PIR Motion Detection ?
12.1 Motion Detection Alarm Setting ?
Motion detection sensitivity can be adjusted from 1 to 10. Higher sensitivity detects motion from further away but may drain the battery faster.
Sensitivity Levels:
- LOW: 1-3 (Detecting Distance: 13-16ft / 4-5 meters)
- MID: 4-7 (Detecting Distance: 16-23ft / 5-8 meters)
- HIGH: 8-10 (Detecting Distance: 23-42ft / 8-13 meters)
? NOTE: Higher sensitivity allows for longer detection distance but consumes battery faster.
Visual Description: App screenshots demonstrate navigating to 'Settings' and 'Alarm Management' to adjust sensitivity and other detection parameters. A table shows sensitivity levels and corresponding detection distances.
12.2 Alarm Notification
This camera is an event recording camera, triggered only by body motion detection. System reactions include:
- Alarm notifications with sounds from the App.
- Pictures/videos automatically stored in Micro SD Card or Cloud.
12.3 Record/Playback/Delete ?
- On the 'MESSAGES' page, click 'Alarm Messages' to view all recorded events.
- Use the provided buttons to playback or delete records.
- All screenshots and manually recorded videos from live, history, or cloud pages are saved in 'Pictures & Videos' and can be shared directly from your phone's Album.
Visual Description: App screenshots show how to access alarm messages and the interface for previewing or deleting recorded events.
13. Power Saving Settings ?
13.1 Alarm Interval ⏳
This feature prevents repeated alarms for the same event. You can set an alarm interval (e.g., 5 minutes). If an event occurs at 08:00, you'll receive an alarm, but no new push notifications will be sent for the next 5 minutes, even if motion continues.
? NOTE: This function is off by default and can be enabled as needed.
13.2 Recording Time ⏱️
You can choose the recording length, such as 20 seconds. After the camera is triggered, you can view the 20-second alarm video in the cloud playback history.
13.3 Alarm Plan ?
Set a weekly/daily alarm schedule. The camera will only trigger and record alarm video during the specified working hours (e.g., 0:00 to 1:00).
? NOTE: Alarm schedules can be set for up to 4 time periods.
Visual Description: App screenshots show settings for Alarm Management, Custom Mode, Recording Time, and Alarm Plan, including selecting time periods and days.
14. Battery Management ?
- The camera has a built-in high-capacity battery, offering 2-3 months of use assuming 15 wake-ups and 10 minutes of video playback per day.
- Battery life depends on wake-up frequency; more frequent wake-ups drain the battery faster. It's recommended to lower 'Motion Detection' sensitivity or turn it off occasionally.
- When the battery level drops below 20%, the App will send a charging reminder.
- Charge the camera with a DC 5V 2A charger; full charge takes 6-8 hours.
15. Multi Device Management
15.1 Multi Camera Management
The ZUMIMALL app allows you to add and watch up to 4 cameras live simultaneously.
Visual Description: App screenshots show the interface for adding more devices and viewing multiple camera feeds.
15.2 Multi-User Sharing
Note: One App account cannot log in on multiple devices simultaneously, and one camera cannot be connected to multiple App accounts. However, cameras can be shared from Account A to Account B.
Share Steps:
- User B downloads the ZUMIMALL App and creates a new account.
- User A clicks 'Add' in their App.
- User A scans User B's QR Code or inputs User B's account ID.
- User B accepts the share and refreshes the device page.
Visual Description: A detailed sequence of app screenshots illustrates the entire camera sharing process, including generating QR codes, entering account details, and accepting sharing requests.
16. ZUMIMALL FAQ ❓
- Unable to connect network: Check Wi-Fi name and password (no special symbols). Ensure you are using 2.4GHz Wi-Fi (5GHz is not supported). Make sure the camera and mobile phone are on the same Wi-Fi network and place the camera near the router during connection.
- Connect to a new network: Remove the camera from the ZUMIMALL APP, long-press the reset button to restore factory settings, and then reconnect.
- Reset the camera: Long-press the reset button until you hear the 'Boogu' sound. Wait for the camera status indicator to flash red slowly.
- Can't charge: Charge for at least 8-10 hours with a 5V/2A adapter. Ensure the charging cable and adapter are functional. The charging indicator is red while charging and turns blue when fully charged.
- Frequently received alarm information: Reduce motion detection sensitivity. Check for objects within the detection range that might interfere with the PIR sensor. Enable 'Alarm only when people appear' and use the humanoid algorithm to filter false positives.
- People passing by without triggering alarms: Ensure the network is good (Wi-Fi signal above 70%). Ensure motion detection is turned on and increase sensitivity. Make sure motion occurs within the PIR detection range.
- No alarm video recording: Confirm the camera is triggered. Ensure the Micro SD card is inserted correctly and recognized, or subscribe to cloud services.
- No alarm push: In phone settings, enable notifications for the ZUMIMALL APP. In the ZUMIMALL APP, go to 'Settings' and enable alarm push. In the 'My' interface, go to settings and turn on push sound. Ensure motion detection is enabled. Restart your phone and clear its cache if necessary. Check network connectivity.
- Unable to play local history playback: Check Micro SD card status in 'Settings' to ensure recognition. Reinsert or format the Micro SD card in the app. Try using a new Micro SD card.
- Unable to play cloud playback: Ensure the cloud service function is enabled and open the cloud storage button in the cloud service interface.
- Device offline: Check the device's status and indicator lights. Ensure the Wi-Fi network is good and restart the router if needed. If the camera is far from the router, move it closer or use a Wi-Fi extender. Delete and re-add the camera. Check for the latest device and app versions.
- Short battery life: Reduce motion detection sensitivity and the number of camera triggers. Reduce two-way intercom usage and live broadcast viewing. Set alarm intervals and alarm time plans. Check for objects interfering with the PIR sensor. Cold weather can reduce battery capacity.

- Unable to share device: Accounts must be registered in the same country (e.g., UK users cannot share with US users).
- No sound when device is talking: Open the speaker button on the APP, adjust intercom volume in settings, and ensure phone media volume is on. Release the intercom button to listen.
- Noise during two-way intercom: If the camera and phone are too close (1-2 meters), whistling may occur. Maintain a distance during intercom.
- Live video is blurry: Check and clean the lens. Try switching between different resolutions. Re-add the camera after a reset.
- Live broadcast at night has white spots: White spots may appear on the screen if a light source is directly on the lens. Avoid pointing the lens at strong light sources.
