Camera Charging

The camera is not fully charged upon arrival due to safety regulations. Charge for 14 hours using the provided Type-C cable (DC5V/1A). Status light: Solid yellow indicates charging. Solid green indicates fully charged.
Turning the Camera On & Off

To turn the camera on or off, long-press the power button located at the top of the camera.
Pre-Installation Notes
- Keep Birdfy Feeder Bamboo and all accessories out of the reach of children and pets.
- Ensure the camera is fully charged (DC5V / 1A).
- Working temperature: -10°C to 50°C (14°F to 122°F). Working relative humidity: 0-95%.
- Avoid exposing the camera lens to direct sunlight.
- The camera has an IP66 waterproof rating, allowing it to function properly in rainy or snowy conditions. However, it should not be submerged in water.
Notes:
- Birdfy Feeder Bamboo only works with 2.4GHz Wi-Fi.
- Strong light may interfere with the device's ability to scan QR codes.
- Avoid placing the device behind furniture or near a microwave oven. Keep it within your Wi-Fi signal range.
Cleaning Your Birdfy Feeder Bamboo
Follow these steps to clean your bird feeder:
- Open the camera compartment cover and remove the camera.
- Remove the two acrylic panels.
- Push up the metal mesh from the bottom of the feeder and pull it out.
- Use a brush and soapy water to clean out any debris or clumped matter.
- Rinse and dry the feeder thoroughly.
Note: Bleach should not be used.
