Inserting MicroSD Card

The Birdfy Cam supports Class 10 microSD cards with capacities up to 128GB.

1. Open the silicone cover.
2. Insert the microSD card, ensuring it is properly positioned with the label facing upward.
3. Replace the silicone cover.

Camera Charging

The camera is not fully charged upon arrival due to safety regulations. Please charge the camera for 14 hours using the provided charging cable (DC5V / 1A) before first use.

Status Light Indicators:

• Solid yellow: Charging
• Solid green: Fully charged

Turning the Camera On & Off

To power the camera on or off, long-press the power button located at the top of the camera.

Pre-Installation Notes

1. Keep the Birdfy Cam and all accessories out of reach of children and pets.
2. Ensure the camera is fully charged (DC5V / 1A).
3. Working temperature: -10°C to 50°C (14°F to 122°F).
4. Working relative humidity: 0-95%.
5. Avoid exposing the camera lens to direct sunlight.
6. The camera has an IP65 waterproof rating, allowing it to function in rain or snow, but it should not be submerged in water.

Notes:

• Birdfy Cam operates exclusively with 2.4GHz Wi-Fi.
• Bright light may interfere with the device's ability to scan QR codes.
• Avoid placing the device behind furniture or near a microwave oven. Position it within your Wi-Fi signal range.

AI Bird Recognition

If you purchased the Birdfy Cam AI, this feature is included and activated automatically at no extra cost. For the Birdfy Cam Lite, a subscription is required to access this feature.

With AI Bird Identification, you can identify bird species visiting your feeder in real-time.
