3 Services and Applications
3.1 Data Service
3.1.1 Wireless Modem
The E5577Cs-603 can function as a wireless modem when Wi-Fi is enabled. Users can utilize default settings or configure the APN via the E5577Cs-603 Web page to establish a wireless network connection and access the Internet. Up to ten wireless users can connect to the E5577Cs-603 simultaneously. The WLAN can be set up with the access point (AP) function.
[Diagram: Figure 3-1 Multi-device access via Wi-Fi and USB at the same time] A diagram illustrating the E5577Cs-603 connecting to multiple devices (laptop, tablet, smartphone) wirelessly via Wi-Fi, and also connecting to a PC via USB.
3.1.2 USB Modem
Upon connecting the E5577Cs-603 to a PC using a USB data cable, the Web page is automatically displayed on the PC desktop. Users can directly use the default settings or configure the APN on the E5577Cs-603 Web page to set up a network connection. This allows for sending/receiving emails, accessing the network wirelessly, and downloading files through wireless data channels.

3.1.3 LTE/3G/Wi-Fi Auto Offload
The E5577Cs-603 enables internet access via LTE, 3G, or Wi-Fi. When in proximity to a Wi-Fi hotspot (e.g., in an airport, cafe, hotel, or at home), the device automatically switches to Wi-Fi connection, thereby saving LTE/3G network data charges. With this function enabled, a maximum of nine wireless users can connect to the E5577Cs-603 concurrently.
[Diagram: Figure 3-3 LTE/3G/Wi-Fi auto offload] A diagram showing the E5577Cs-603 connecting to the Internet via LTE/3G or a Wi-Fi hotspot. It depicts the device automatically switching to Wi-Fi when available to save mobile data.
3.2 SMS
The E5577Cs-603 supports writing, sending, and receiving messages. Users can manage messages, including inbox, outbox, and drafts, through the Web page.
3.3 Sharing Data Stored on the microSD card
After inserting a microSD card, data can be stored on it or shared via the Web management page.
3.4 Menu-Style LCD UI
The E5577Cs-603 features a menu-style LCD UI that supports multiple languages. Users can navigate menus by pressing the menu button and use the menu and power buttons to select or confirm options. This interface allows browsing information on the LCD or configuring settings. For example, users can:
- Scan a 2D barcode on the E5577Cs-603's LCD to download the HUAWEI HiLink APP (Mobile WiFi APP).
- Scan a 2D barcode on the E5577Cs-603's LCD using the HUAWEI HiLink APP (Mobile WiFi APP) to connect their device to the Internet.
- Turn on or off the automatic switchover between LTE/3G and Wi-Fi Internet access modes.
- Turn on or off the WPS function.
Figure 3-4 illustrates the menu-style LCD UI. This figure is for reference only, and the actual UI may vary.
