Installation Types
Regular Shade (No Raceway) Installation and Removal
Installation of shade brackets: Ensure brackets are at least 3/4" from the window frame's front edge. Align brackets horizontally. Use two 1 1/4" hexagon screws per bracket. For inside mount, fit bracket cover over shade bracket before screwing to wall.

Shade Bracket Installation Tips: The top and bottom of left and right shade brackets should be at the same horizontal line. The front and back of left and right shade brackets should also be at the same horizontal line.
Installation of the Shade:
- Insert the control side into the bracket's tongue.
- Press the end plug and insert it into the other bracket's hole.
- Slide the lock pin downward into the end plug to secure the shade.
- Remove the paper band from the shade.

Shade Installation Tips: After installation, use a level to check if the fabric roll is horizontal. Adjust bracket positions if necessary.
Tip: Ensure the shade is level. The gap on the end plug side should be approximately 3/16".
Removal of the Shade:
- Use a tool to push the lock pin on the end plug bracket upward.
- Use a tool to draw the end plug back from the bracket.
- Remove the shade from the mounting bracket.

Raceway System Installation and Removal
Installation of mounting / shade brackets:
- Inside Mount: Attach shade brackets and raceway bracket clips to the raceway ends. Ensure clips lock into the raceway. Install the raceway into the window opening, securing screws first in the middle holes for adjustment. Ensure at least 3/4" clearance from the window edge for the first screw.
- Outside Mount: Mount brackets at least 3/4" from the front edge of the window frame. Align all brackets horizontally. Use two 1 1/4" hexagon screws per bracket.

Dual Shade Installation: Installation of brackets and raceway is similar to single shades, but dual shade brackets differ. Install the back shade first, then the front shade. Ensure hem bars are at the same height.

Coupled Shade Installation: Raceway comes in two pieces; connect them using a raceway connector and 1/4" screw bolt with a link bracket. For inside mount raceway, insert the back edge into the bracket and turn upwards to snap. For outside mount, follow similar connection steps.

Installation of Shade:
- Inside Mount: Same as regular shade installation.
- Outside Mount: Locate the lock pin in the shade bracket on the end plug side and slide it downward into the end plug to prevent the shade from falling before installing into mounting brackets.

Removal of Shade:
- Inside Mount: Same as regular shade removal.
- Outside Mount: Use a tool to push back the plastic part of the brackets, turn the raceway downward to detach, and then pull the raceway downward from the brackets.

Continuous Cordloop & SmartRelease™ Installation
Install Safety Tension Device:
- For Continuous Cordloop Shades: Use two 2" flat head screws. Ensure the bead chain is fully extended.
- For SmartRelease™ Shades: Ensure the tension device is at the bottom of the bead chain loop. Adjust using a slotted screwdriver if needed. Ensure bead chain tension is taut but with slight slack. Mount the tension device cover/base using two 1 1/4" round head screws where the device hangs freely. Insert the device into the cover/base.

Exchange of Safety Tension Device:
- Disassembly: Loosen screw, remove top cover, then remove wheel and chain from bottom cover.
- Assembly: Insert wheel and chain into bottom cover, place top cover, then install screw.

Hold Down Brackets Installation (Optional)
- A. Traditional Hold Down Bracket: Secure each bracket with a 3/4" round head screw.
- B. Magnetic Hold Down: Secure the magnet catch with a 5/8" flat head screw at the specified location, aligning it with the pre-installed magnet on the shade bottom rail.

Operation
Continuous Cord Loop & SmartRelease™ Operation
- To raise the shade: Pull downward on the side of the bead chain farthest from the shade fabric.
- To lower the shade: Pull downward on the side of the bead chain closest to the shade fabric.
- SmartRelease™ Operation: Gently pull the bead chain closer to the fabric downwards about 1 1/2" for automatic lowering. Pull the chain farther from the fabric to stop. If automatic lowering fails, pull the farther chain first, then the closer one.
Cordless Installation
Handle Installation and Removal
- Attach Handle to Hem Bar: Turn over the hem bar to find a label. Align the handle's center with the label. Hook the handle from top to bottom, then press to clip it into the hem bar. Tear off the label.
- Remove Handle from Hem Bar: Use a straight screwdriver to pry the bottom of the handle from the hem bar.

Cordless Operation
Adjust tension using the adjustment dial: turn towards '+' to increase tension (if shade slides down or fails to roll up), or towards '-' to decrease tension (if shade rolls up by itself). The shade must be installed on brackets for adjustment.
To lift the shade, place the U-shape channel of a pole under the handle and push up. To lower the shade, use the 'hook' portion of the pole on the handle.

Automate Motorization
Motors are set to sleep mode before shipping. Short press the P1 button once to activate motors before operation. The motors will then be ready to run.
RF 5-channel Wall Switch: 5 channels available, default is channel 1. Channel 0 operates all shades at once.
15-channel Remote: 15 channels available, default is channel 1. Channel 0 operates all shades at once.

Note: 'ALL' button controls all shades simultaneously.
Shade Operation by Remote Control: Select shade group(s), press OPEN to raise, CLOSE to lower, or UP/DOWN to adjust position. Use the STOP button to halt movement. 'Move to Best View', 'Move to My Favorite', 'Move to Best Privacy' are preset positions.
Shade Operation by Shade Button: Press the button to move the shade in the first direction when stationary. Press again to stop. Press a third time to move in the opposite direction.

Fascia & Valance Installation
After installing the shade and raceway, attach valance/fascia brackets. Align brackets with the raceway and push them on, ensuring the top groove hooks onto the raceway's top and the bottom groove clips into the bottom rib.

Valance Clip Installation: Insert clips into the aluminum strip groove. For valances, clips face downwards; for fascias, they face upwards. Align clips with valance brackets.

Valance/Fascia Keystone Installation
Keystones are used for wood & fabric valances and fascias requiring splicing.
- Keystone for Fabric Valance: Use Velcro to attach fabric to fascia connector.
- Keystone for Curved Fascia (with/without fabric): Align fascia pieces, use fascia connector, attach Velcro to keystone and fascia connector. Wind keystone to fascia front and attach Velcro. For semi-inside/outside mount, place keystone on the joint, hook top edges, push bottom edges.
- Keystone for Wood Crown Valance: Insert valance connectors into keystone, align valances, insert into keystone, and secure with screws.
- Keystone for Wood Modern Valance: Insert valance connectors into valances, stick keystone with double-sided tape to the split position, and secure with screws. For inside mount, attach valance to raceway, insert keystone into gap, attach second valance, and secure keystone with Velcro. For outside mount, attach valances to raceway, place keystone on joint, wrap flaps around valance edges, and secure with Velcro.
- Keystone for Square Fascia: Two methods; insert fascia pieces into keystone (suggested for inside mount).

Valance/Fascia Removal: Remove valance/fascia with clips from brackets. Detach brackets from raceway by turning them 90 degrees.

Safety Precautions
Read instructions carefully before use. Save for future reference. Disconnect power during cleaning/maintenance. Handle batteries with care, as they contain flammable materials. Recharge batteries every 3-6 months. Operate within specified temperature ranges. Warranty void if modified. Use accessories only as intended. Ensure shade route is clear. Firmware/software may update automatically.
General Warnings: Do not operate with wet hands. Appliance not for use by persons with reduced capabilities unless supervised. Children should be supervised. Use only provided power supply. Installation
Mounting brackets and shades installation is the same as non-motorized shades.
Check components for AC adapter Plug-In (MRS-32A)
Components include: 36W Adapter or 65W Adapter, Connector Cord, AC Power Cord, Extension cord (optional), 1" screws (for 65W adapter).

AC Adapter Plug-In (MRS-32A) with 36W adapter: Connect connector cord to adapter, then to motor cable, then plug adapter to outlet. Use extension cord if ordered.
AC Adapter Plug-In (MRS-32A) with 65W adapter: Connect adapter to motor cable, plug AC power cord into adapter, then to outlet. Use extension cord if ordered. 65W adapter may use 1" screws for fixing.
The shade powers on automatically upon connection, indicated by a blinking green light.
Check components for rechargeable Battery with charging wands (MRS-32B)
Components include: Wireless Charging Wand, Charging Wand, Wired Charging Wand, 36W Adapter, Extension cord (optional), Extension pole (optional).

Rechargeable Battery with Charging Wands (MRS-32B): Connect wire line in charging port to motor cable. Place lines into charging port and plug port to holder bracket. Ensure charging port front edge is not obstructed by window sills or obstacles for charging rod use.
Minimum Shade Height for Charging Port Clearance: Specific minimum heights are provided for different shade bracket types and valance/fascia configurations when installed within bottom window/windowsills/obstacles. For example, a Roller without Top Treatment/with Raceway using a Small Shade Bracket requires a minimum shade height of 39 1/2" for Wireless Charging Wand and 40 7/8" for Wired Charging Wand.

Charging the Shade (MRS-32B & MRS-32C)
Warning: Charge before use. Do NOT use while charging. Recharge every 3-6 months. Use only included charging wand (MRS-32B) or 36W AC Adapter (MRS-32C). Do not bend or twist extension cords.
Shade Operation
For MRS-32A (AC Adapter): Shade powers on when connected to power.
For MRS-32B & MRS-32C (Battery Power): Press and hold the shade button for 3 seconds; a green light indicates it's powered on and ready.

Operate the shade by Remote Control
- Select shade group(s).
- Press OPEN to fully raise.
- Press CLOSE to fully lower.
- Press UP or DOWN to adjust position.

- The 'ALL' button controls all shades simultaneously by default.
