How it Works
Download Shokz App
Download the Shokz app to manage multipoint pairing, update firmware, change EQ modes, and more. The Shokz app allows for easy control of headphone settings.

Headphone Control
The headphones feature a magnetic charging port and an LED indicator. Control is managed via the Volume +/- buttons and a Multifunction Button.
Volume Control:
- Volume Up/Power Button (+): Press and hold to turn on/off, adjust volume up.
- Volume Down Button (-): Adjust volume down.
Multifunction Button: Located on the side of the earcup.
On/Off
To Turn On: Press and hold the Volume+/Power button until the LED indicator blinks blue. Audrey will announce, "Welcome to Shokz".
To Turn Off: Press and hold the Volume+/Power button until the LED indicator blinks red. Audrey will announce, "Power off".
Pairing
1. Start by turning off the OpenRun Pro.
2. Press and hold the Volume+ button until the LED indicator blinks red and blue alternately. Audrey will announce "pairing".
3. Open your device's Bluetooth settings and select "OpenRun Pro by Shokz". Audrey will announce "connected".
Wearing the Headphones
Lift the headphones, place them behind your neck, and hook the transducers over your ears. Enjoy your music!
*Wearing the headphones incorrectly may cause discomfort. The transducers should rest in front of your ears.
Volume
Control volume during audio playback.
How to change volume: During audio playback, adjust headphone volume by pressing the Volume+ or Volume- button. A beep will sound when maximum volume is reached.
*Listening at high volume may affect hearing and distort sound.
Multifunction Button Operations
- Play/Pause Music: Single click.
- Next Song: Double click during music playback.
- Previous Song: Triple click during music playback.
- Voice Assistant: Press and hold for 2 seconds.
- Answer Call: Single click.
- End Call: Single click.
- Reject Call: Press and hold for 2 seconds.
- Change Language: Double click in pairing mode (LED blinks red and blue alternately).
- Answer Second Call and Reject Current Call: Press and hold for 2 seconds when a second call is signaled.
- Answer Second Call and Pause Current Call: Single click when a second call is incoming.
- Switch Between Two Calls: Single click when two calls are active.
- End Multi-Party Call (Current Call): Press and hold for 2 seconds when both calls are active.
*Applies only to phone calls, not internet calls.
Checking Battery Status
Operate controls when sound is not playing. Click the Volume+ or Volume- button while music is paused. Audrey will announce the battery status: "Battery high", "Battery medium", "Battery low", or "Charge me".
Additional Features
EQ Modes
Standard Mode: Balanced frequencies for music listening. ??
Voice Booster Mode: Enhanced mid-frequencies for audiobooks, podcasts, etc. ?️?
Switching EQ Mode
To switch EQ modes, press and hold both the Volume+/Power button and the Volume- button during music playback until you hear a beep. Audrey will announce "Standard Mode/Vocal Booster Mode". You can also use the Shokz app to change EQ modes.
Multipoint Pairing
Pair two devices and seamlessly switch between them with multipoint pairing.
To Pair with Two Devices:
- Start with the headphones turned off.
- Press and hold the Volume+ button until Audrey announces "pairing" and the LED indicator blinks red and blue alternately.
- Press and hold the Multifunction button and the Volume+ button until Audrey announces "multipoint enabled".
- Open the Bluetooth menu of the first device and select "OpenRun Pro by Shokz". Audrey will announce "connected". Turn off the headphones.
- Re-enter pairing mode by pressing and holding the Volume+ button until Audrey announces "pairing" and the LED indicator blinks red and blue alternately.
- Open the Bluetooth menu of the second device and select "OpenRun Pro by Shokz". Audrey will announce "connected". Turn off the headphones.
- Turn on the headphones. You will hear a beep, and Audrey will announce, "Welcome to Shokz, connected. Second device connected." Your headphones are now connected to both devices.
*You can also use the Shokz app for easy switching between devices.
Disable Multipoint Pairing
1. Start by turning off the headphones.
2. Press and hold the Volume+ button until Audrey announces "pairing" and the LED indicator blinks red and blue alternately.
3. Press and hold the Multifunction button and the Volume- button until Audrey announces "multipoint disabled".
*You can also use the Shokz app for easy switching between devices.
Change Language
Your headphones have four built-in languages: Chinese, English, Japanese, and Korean.
Follow the instructions with the headphones turned off.
1. Start by turning off the headphones.
2. Press and hold the Volume+ button until Audrey announces "pairing" and the LED indicator blinks red and blue alternately.
3. Double-press the Multifunction button. The language is changed when you hear the corresponding language prompt.
*You can also use the Shokz app to change the language.
Maintenance
Charging Tips
The headset will automatically turn off during charging.
When the headphone battery level is low, Audrey will announce "charge me", and the red light will blink intermittently. Use the provided magnetic charging cable for charging.
The LED indicator will turn red during the charging process, and the headphones will automatically turn off. After charging is complete, the LED indicator will change from red to blue.
Moisture Detection Alert
How it works: These headphones can detect liquids such as water, sweat, or rain. If the headphones are connected to the charger while wet, the LED indicator will blink red and blue, and the headphones will emit a beep. If this happens, disconnect the charging cable, dry them completely, and then resume charging.
Storage and Maintenance
- Store the headphones in a cool, dry place. The operating temperature range is 0-45°C (32-113°F). Operating in cold/hot environments, high humidity, or at very low air pressure may shorten battery life.
- Keep the product away from heat sources, direct sunlight, flammable gas, or other liquids.
- Keeping the charging port dry before connecting the charger will reduce the risk of damage.
- These headphones are water-resistant, not waterproof. Do not submerge the headphones in water.
- Clean the headphones with a soft, dry cloth.
- Do not charge the headphones immediately after exercise if sweat is present in the charging port, as this may cause circuit burnout during charging.
- If storing the headphones for a long time, charge them before reuse.
