First-Time Setup

Auto-Connecting Earbuds

Step 1: Remove the earbuds from the charging case and peel off the protective stickers.

Step 2: Turn on the earbuds by pressing and holding both touch sensors for 3+ seconds. One earbud will light up solid white, and the other will flash blue/white, indicating pairing readiness.

Connecting to Your Bluetooth Device

Select "JLab JBuds Air Sport" in your device's Bluetooth settings. You will hear two beeps, and the white light will turn solid when connected.

Adding a New Bluetooth Device

Turn Bluetooth OFF on a previously connected device. Turn Bluetooth ON on the new device. Remove the earbuds from the case. They will automatically enter Bluetooth pairing mode. Connect by selecting "JLab JBuds Air Sport" in your device's settings.

Button Functions

Left Earbud

• Volume Down: Single tap.
• Siri (iOS) or "OK Google" (Android): Double tap.
• Switch Music/Movie Mode: Press and hold for 1+ second.
• Change EQ: Triple tap.
• Power On: Press and hold for 3+ seconds.

Right Earbud

• Volume Up: Single tap.
• Play/Pause: Double tap.
• Track Forward: Press and hold for 1+ second.
• Answer Call: Single tap.
• End Call: Double tap.
• Reject Incoming Call: Press and hold for 1+ second.
• Be Aware On/Off: Triple tap.
• Power On: Press and hold for 3+ seconds.

Audio Cues

• Power On: Chime
• Bluetooth Connected: 2 Beeps
• Low Battery: "Low Battery" (under 20%)
• Power Off: Chime

Turning Off Earbuds Without Charging Case

Go to your Bluetooth device settings and disconnect "JLab JBuds Air Sport". The earbuds will automatically turn off after 3 minutes.

Equalizer (EQ) Modes

Tap the left earbud three times to cycle through different EQ settings. Chimes will indicate the selected EQ mode. The JBuds Air Sport cycles through 3 EQ settings:

• JLab Signature: JLab C3™™ sound with enhanced vocals and bass.
• Balanced: Stable sound without extra audio enhancements.
• Bass Boost: Enhanced bass and sub-bass.

Charging the Earbuds

1. Charging Earbuds: Place the earbuds in the charging case. Charging begins automatically. Blue indicator lights show the earbuds are charging; the lights turn off when charging is complete.

Charging the Case: Connect the JBuds Air Sport to a computer or USB accessory with a 5V 1A (or less) power supply using the included USB cable.

2. Auto-Connect: The earbuds automatically turn ON and connect to your device when removed from the case.

Case Charging Indicator: Lights pulse white while charging and turn solid white when charging is complete.

Fitting Your Earbuds

For optimal sound quality and comfort, ensure a proper fit. Experiment with the different included ear tip sizes (S, M, L, Cloud Foam) to find the best seal and fit for your ears. Insert the earbud gently into your ear canal and rotate slightly until it feels secure and comfortable.

Troubleshooting

No Sound in Left Earbud or Earbuds Disconnecting from Each Other (Manual Reset)

1. Go to your Bluetooth device settings and select "Forget" for JBuds Air Sport.
2. Open the charging case and leave both earbuds inside. Tap the touch sensor on ONE earbud seven times quickly. The indicator light will flash blue three times. Leave the earbuds in the charging case.
3. Repeat the above steps for the other earbud. Tap its touch sensor seven times quickly. The indicator light will flash blue three times.
4. Remove both earbuds from the charging case and place them about two inches apart. Wait until one earbud turns solid white and the other flashes blue/white. You are now ready to pair with your Bluetooth device.

Bluetooth Device Not Connecting / Not Reconnecting

1. Go to your Bluetooth device settings and select "Forget" for JBuds Air Sport.
2. Turn Bluetooth OFF and then ON again on your device.
3. Remove both earbuds from the case. Wait until one earbud turns solid white and the other flashes blue/white.
4. Reconnect by selecting "JLab JBuds Air Sport" in your device's Bluetooth settings.

Tips for Best Performance

• Dry the earbuds completely before placing them in the charging case.
• Either the left or right earbud can be used individually for music or calls. Select an earbud and remove it from the case to connect.
• Choosing the right ear tip significantly improves sound quality due to a proper fit. Try all ear tips for the best results.
• Only ONE Bluetooth device can be connected at a time. Turn off Bluetooth on other devices and turn on Bluetooth on the device you wish to connect.

Important Warnings

⚠️ Dry the earbuds completely before placing them in the charging case. Wet or damp earbuds can damage the charging case. The warranty will be voided if water or sweat damage is found in the charging case.

• Avoid extreme heat, cold, and moisture.
• Do not drop or crush the earbuds.
• Earwax may build up on the earbud ear tips, affecting sound quality. Gently clean with a cotton swab or small tool to improve sound quality.
• If you feel discomfort or pain, try lowering the volume or stop using the earbuds for a while.
• If you consistently feel discomfort when using this product, stop use and consult a doctor.
• Treat your earbuds like your favorite sunglasses and keep them in a safe place when not in use.
