First Time Setup
1. Auto-Connecting Earbuds
Press and hold both touch sensors for 3+ seconds to POWER ON. One earbud will illuminate solid white, and the other will blink blue/white, indicating they are ready to pair with your device.

2. Connecting via Bluetooth
Select "JLab JBuds Air" from your device's Bluetooth settings. An audio cue of two beeps, followed by a solid white light, indicates the earbuds are connected.

Adding New / Additional Bluetooth Devices:
Turn off Bluetooth on any previously connected device. Turn on Bluetooth for the new device. Remove the earbuds from the charging case. The earbuds will automatically enter Bluetooth pairing mode. To connect, select "JLab JBuds Air" from the new device's settings.
Button Functions

Left Earbud Functions:
- Volume Down: Single tap
- Siri (iOS) or "OK Google" (Android): Double tap
- Answer Call: Single tap
- End Call: Double tap
- Reject Incoming Call: Press and hold 1+ second
- Previous Track: Press and hold 1+ second
- Power On: Press and hold 3+ seconds
- Change EQ Mode: Triple tap
Right Earbud Functions:
- Volume Up: Single tap
- Answer Call: Single tap
- End Call: Double tap
- Reject Incoming Call: Press and hold 1+ second
- Play / Pause: Double tap
- Next Track: Press and hold 1+ second
- Power On: Press and hold 3+ seconds
- Change EQ Mode: Triple tap
Audio Cues:
- POWERED ON: Tone
- BLUETOOTH CONNECTED: 2 beeps
- LOW BATTERY: "Low battery" (less than 20%)
- POWERED OFF: Tone
Turning Off Earbuds Without Charging Case:
Access your Bluetooth device settings and disconnect the JLab JBuds Air. The earbuds will power off automatically after 3 minutes.
Customizable EQ Modes
Triple tap either the right or left earbud to cycle through 3 different EQ settings. The JLab JBuds Air will cycle through 3 EQ settings.
- JLab SIGNATURE (1 Beep): Unmistakable JLab C3™ sound, with amplified vocals and bass.
- BALANCED (2 Beeps): Even sound, no extra sound enhancements.
- BASS BOOST (3 Beeps): Amplified bass and sub-bass.
Charging the Earbuds
Earbud Charging:
1. For correct charging, ensure the L and R letters on the earbuds match the L and R on the charging case. The earbuds will automatically power off and begin charging. A blue light indicates the charging process is underway, and it will turn off when the earbuds are fully charged.

Charging Case:
Connect the JLab JBuds Air earbuds to your computer or a device with a 5V 1A USB output (or lower). The LEDs will pulse white while charging and turn solid white when fully charged.

2. The earbuds will automatically power on and reconnect to your device when removed from the case.
Fitting
Try all optional Cush Fins and ear tips for an optimal fit and seal. The Cush Fin element should be aligned by positioning the contour around the microphone port.

Troubleshooting
No Sound in One Earbud (Manual Reset)
1. Access your Bluetooth device settings and "forget" the JLab JBuds Air.
2. Open the charging case and place both earbuds inside. Starting with ONE earbud, quickly tap the touch sensor 7 times. The light will flash blue 4 times. Leave the earbuds in the charging case.
3. Repeat step 2 for the other earbud. Tap quickly 7 times. The light will flash blue 4 times.
4. Remove both earbuds from the charging case. Wait for one earbud to illuminate solid white and the other to blink blue/white. You are now ready to pair with your device via Bluetooth.

Bluetooth Device Not Connecting / Reconnecting
1. Access your Bluetooth device settings and "forget" the JLab JBuds Air.
2. Turn the Bluetooth function OFF, then ON again on your device.
3. Open the charging case and wait for one earbud to illuminate solid white and the other to blink blue/white.
4. To reconnect, select "JLab JBuds Air" from your device's settings.

Call Echoes / Microphone Quality Issues
If you experience microphone echoes or call quality issues with the JBuds Air, ensure the Cush Fin element does not block the microphone port.

Recommendations
- To avoid case damage, dry the earbuds completely before placing them in the charging case. The earbuds are sweat/water resistant, but the case is not.
- Each earbud can connect to your device and be used independently. Simply remove an earbud from the charging case, and it will connect automatically.
- Selecting the correct ear tip provides a significant improvement in audio quality due to proper seal for the driver. For optimal results, try all ear tips.
Warnings
- Avoid exposing the product to extreme temperatures and humidity.
- Avoid dropping or crushing the earbuds.
- Earwax can accumulate on ear tips, reducing sound quality. Carefully remove earwax using a cotton swab or small tool to improve sound quality.
- If you experience discomfort or pain, try reducing the volume or temporarily stop using the product.
- If you typically experience discomfort while using this product, discontinue use and consult a doctor.
- We recommend treating your earbuds like a pair of sunglasses and storing them in a safe place when not in use.
