Important Usage Notes

• Choose a stable, solid, and supportive surface and ensure the lamp is set correctly.
• Make sure cables do not pose a trip hazard.
• Ensure adequate ventilation around the device and do not cover it at all times.
• This lamp is intended for indoor use only. The main power adapter and remote control are not waterproof; keep them away from water.
• WARNING: Keep the external adapter out of reach of children.
• Never charge this product in moisture or rain; only charge indoors in a dry place.
• This is not a toy; keep away from small children below 12 years.
• Do not open, disassemble, repair, or modify the lamp or adapter yourself, as this voids the warranty and may result in electric shock.
• Do not look directly into the lamp beads, as it could hurt your eyes.
• The LED source is not replaceable.
• If the cable or adapter is damaged, contact your seller for a correct replacement by the manufacturer only.
• Do not stand, sit on, jump, or throw the lamp.
• Do not throw this product in the air, as it may cause damage when falling.
• Use the lamp only for its intended purpose as lighting.
• Take good care of the product and clean it regularly.
• Never touch plug contacts with sharp or metal objects.
• Use only the original power supply and accessories.
• Do not use the device outdoors.
• Protect the device from special liquids and vapors.
• Note: The power port should not be infiltrated by water to prevent product failure.
• Do not charge or store the product below 0°C or above 40°C, as this may reduce performance.
• It is normal for the adapter temperature to rise during use.

Installation of the Lamp

Do not connect the power cable or adapter to the mains outlet yet! Please check if the lamp set is complete according to the package contents.

Note: The power adapter input is AC100-240V 50/60Hz, 0.7A with output from DC 12V-2A (2000mA) 24W max. This adapter is not waterproof and must be used indoors only.

1. Step 1: Place lamp on table

   Place the lamp pole carefully on a table protected by a soft cloth or towel, etc.

2. Step 2: Attach the base to the lamp pole

   Take the lamp pole bottom screw side in one hand and bolt it with your other hand onto the lamp foot base hole using the supplied tool and bolt. Fix it firmly but slowly and carefully.

3. Step 3: Insert cable

   Insert the USB connector cable end into the adapter's power connection to connect it, and then plug it into the mains power outlet.

4. Step 4: Open remote control

   To open the battery cover at the back, use a small coin to twist and open it at the side of the remote's back cover.

5. Step 5: Clean battery contacts

   Clean the battery contacts and remote contacts before installing the batteries.

6. Step 6: Place batteries

   Install the three batteries one by one, ensuring correct polarity (+ and -) inside the remote control housing.

7. Step 7: Place cover back

   Put the battery cover back into place, ensuring all sides correctly "click" and are pushed into the housing of the remote's top cover.

Note: The remote can be used to change colors, dim the light, adjust speed, start/pause functions, and more. The remote control is not waterproof! Maximum control distance is less than 30 meters without obstacles and in open space.

Button Explanation

1. ON/OFF

   Short press to turn the light on/off. Long press for 5 seconds to clear/check the code. Successful code matching is indicated by the lamp's blue light flashing quickly 5 times, followed by a slow yellow light flash 5 times after code clearing. Note: Code clearing/matching requires holding the button within 20 seconds after the lamp is powered on. If no operation is performed within 20 seconds, the software will exit the mode.

2. Play/pause

   Short press: When the light strip is on, short press to change monochrome color or illusion static color to automatic playback mode. When in dynamic mode, short press to pause.

3. Color adjusting ring

   Short press or slide the color ring to switch colors in color light mode, and to switch color temperature in white light mode.

4. Light mode

   Short press the white light switch button to enter light mode. The light color cycles through cool, warm, and neutral light with each click.

5. Timed shutdown

   Short press the button; the white light flashes once, twice, three times, four times, or five times, indicating the light will turn off after one, two, three, four, or five hours, respectively.

6. Mode change speed+/-

   Short press to change between 256 illusory color modes and adjust the color sequence in setting mode.

7. Music rhythm mode

   Short press to enter music rhythm mode. Click again to switch modes. Exit by clicking the color ring, white light switch, or mode change speed+/-. Long press: Forces Wi-Fi pairing state (lamp shows rapidly flashing red light). Note: When power is connected, long press the "Music" button for 5-8 seconds (while on or off) to clear lamp internet data and re-enter WIFI pairing mode. Music rhythm mode has the highest control power; exit when not in use to prevent switching to the APP's built-in microphone mode when using the remote.

8. Brightness +/-

   Short press to adjust brightness across 16 levels.

9. Mode change speed+/-

   Short press to cycle through 10 levels of light color change speed. Can also adjust LED set numbers in setting mode.

10. Microphone sensitivity+/-

    Short press to adjust microphone sensitivity.

11. Indicator

    The light turns on during normal remote operation. A long press will turn the light off after a short delay.

Using One Remote Control for Multiple Lamps

One remote control can operate one or multiple lamps simultaneously. Pair within a range of 5 meters from the lamp(s). To pair and use with more than one lamp in the same or multiple rooms/spaces (optional, additional lamp sets can be purchased separately at www.flinqproducts.nl).

Pairing Process:

Note: Ensure other purchased lamps are turned OFF before pairing by unplugging their adapters.

Steps 1-3 must be completed WITHIN 20 seconds:

1. Plug the adapter into the power outlet of the lamp you want to pair and ensure the lamp is ON.
2. Put the lamp into "color mode" by pressing the "light switch" button once if it's in normal white color mode.
3. Press and hold the LIGHT SWITCH button until the lamp flashes white 5 times to confirm pairing for multi-lamp use.
4. Remove the adapter from the socket.
5. Repeat steps 1-3 for any additional lamps.

Note: When using multiple lamps (2 or more) with one remote, only normal white and static colors will work simultaneously with dimming. Symphonic (moving colors) cannot run simultaneously and will continue to work independently.

To Reconnect/Use Remote with Only 1 Lamp

Note: Ensure other purchased lamps are turned OFF before pairing by unplugging their adapters.

1. Plug the adapter into the lamp's outlet and ensure the lamp is ON.
2. Put the lamp into "color mode" by pressing the "light switch" button once if it's in normal white color mode.
3. Press and hold the LIGHT SWITCH button until the lamp flashes blue 5 times rapidly to confirm pairing with 1 remote control.
4. Remove the adapter from the power outlet.
5. Repeat steps 1-3 for any additional lamps to use them again with 1 remote control.

Connecting Your Smart Lamp to the FlinQ App

Before plugging in the unit, visually inspect it to ensure it is intact and has not suffered transit damage.

Notes: Only 2.4 GHz networks are supported. 5 GHz networks will not work. Consult your provider on how to enable both frequencies.

1. Step 1: Open the FlinQ app

   Open the FlinQ app on your mobile device.

2. Step 2: Add the device

   Select 'Add Device' or the '+' sign. Ensure the red light on the lamp is flashing rapidly.

3. Step 3: Select product type

   Select your product type via the light section tab. Choose the 'FlinQ Smart Indoor Xyro Floorlamp'.

4. Step 4: Fill in the WiFi details

   Enter your WiFi name and password to continue the installation.

5. Step 5: Device is being added

   The device is installing. This can take up to 2 minutes.

6. Step 6: Device added successfully

   The device has been successfully installed and added to your product list. You can now control your device remotely.

7. Step 7: Google Home & Amazon Alexa

   To control your device using voice commands via a smart speaker, refer to the manufacturer's instructions manual on how to enable voice commands for your device.

Troubleshooting

Light does not turn on?

• Button use: Try powering the device on/off with the remote or reconnecting the USB cable or adapter to the main power outlet.
• Remote control not working: The RF signal may be weak due to strong visible light or a barrier. Normal range should be effective within 30 meters. Remove old batteries by opening the battery cover. Note the polarity (+/-) and insert new batteries (AAA 1.5V) correctly. Replace the cover and dispose of old batteries responsibly.
• Not working: Is the remote battery full? Replace the battery. Ensure the adapter is connected to the mains power and retry.
• Poor distance: Use within a range of max. 30 meters without obstacles.

The battery runs out too quick?

• Weak battery: We recommend using only dry alkaline batteries from A-brands.

Note: If the lamp does not work or respond to the remote in any way, disconnect the power adapter from the mains outlet, wait at least 15 minutes, and then reconnect it.

Cleaning the Device Itself

Ensure the lamp is kept dust-free and clean. Clean it regularly with a dry anti-static cloth and warm, soapy water. Make sure no water enters the lamp luminaire. Dry the lamp before turning it ON again.

• Do not immerse the main unit in water; it is not waterproof.
• Wipe gently with a clean, soft cloth (microfiber) dampened with water or a mild detergent.
• Do not use harsh lotions such as gasoline, alcohol, or rubber water.

Instructions for Use and Maintenance

If the product is not in use, store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

Caution: NON-Replaceable LED lights!

Disposal Information

Separate collection. This symbol means the product must not be discarded with general household waste. There is a separate collection system for these products.

Batteries and rechargeable batteries do not belong in household waste! You are legally required to dispose of used batteries and rechargeable batteries at a collection point in your municipality or city administration, or at a specialist battery dealer. If the battery is built-in, open the product and remove it.

WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Directive 2012/19/EU): This marking indicates the product should not be disposed of with other household wastes at the end of its working life. To prevent environmental or human health damage from uncontrolled waste disposal, separate this from other waste types and recycle it responsibly to promote sustainable material reuse. Household users should contact their retailer or local government office for recycling details. Business users should contact their supplier and check purchase contract terms. Do not mix this product with other commercial waste for disposal. Dispose of batteries separately or at your local recycling store/station. Recycling, reusing materials, or otherwise utilizing old devices/batteries contributes significantly to protecting our environment.
