Note: The above specifications are based on laboratory tests using the stocked Videx Li-Ion 21700 4000mAh battery at 21 ± 3°C and 50%-80% humidity. Actual performance may vary with different environments and batteries used.
* Turbo and Strobe modes’ output is measured based on the total runtime, including periods when the output decreases due to built-in overheat protection.
2. Product Overview
The flashlight features the following components:
- 2.1 Tail button: Used for turning the flashlight on/off and momentary activation.
- 2.2 Mode switch: Used for cycling through lighting modes and activating strobe.
- 2.3 Battery indicator: Displays the current battery charge level.
- 2.4 Focusing mechanism: Allows adjustment of the beam focus.
- 2.5 Charging port: USB-C port for recharging the battery.
- 2.6 Battery compartment: Located at the base of the flashlight for battery insertion.
3. Operating Instructions
3.1 ON/OFF
Momentary On: Tap the tail button. Release to turn off.
Constant On/Off: Fully press the tail button to keep the light on continuously. Press again to turn off.
3.2 Mode Selection
With the light turned on, single-click the mode switch to cycle through the modes: Moon > Low > Middle > High > Turbo.
3.3 Strobe Mode
With the light turned on, press and hold the mode switch for 3 seconds to enter Strobe mode. Single-click the mode switch again to exit Strobe mode.
Note: The flashlight automatically memorizes the last lighting mode and will apply it the next time it is turned on.
4. Charging
- Turn off the flashlight and open the protective cover of the charging port.
- Connect the USB-A end of the charging cable to a wall charger and the other end to the flashlight's input port.
- During charging, the indicator glows red. When the battery is fully charged, the indicator will glow green.
- After charging is complete, disconnect the charging cable and close the protective cover to prevent water and dust from entering the flashlight body.
Recommendation: Recharge the stored battery every four months to maintain the Li-Ion battery's normal performance.
5. Battery Indication
The battery status is continuously displayed on the mode switch while the light is turned on:
- Constant green light: 80-100% charge left.
- Blinking green light: 79-50% charge left.
- Constant red light: 49-25% charge left.
- Blinking red light: 24-1% charge left.
6. Battery Replacement
Batteries must be inserted with the correct polarity. Unscrew the lower part of the flashlight and insert the battery with the anode (+) towards the head of the flashlight. Then screw the lower part back on.
7. Maintenance
- Disassembling the sealed head may damage the product and void the warranty.
- Before long-term storage, it is necessary to remove the battery from the flashlight.
- Unscrew the lower part of the flashlight or remove the battery to prevent accidental activation during storage or transportation.
- Periodically clean the battery contacts to maintain original performance, as dirty contacts can cause unstable operation of the flashlight.
- It is recommended to regularly lubricate the silicone seals and threaded parts of the flashlight to prevent premature wear and ensure the waterproof housing. If the silicone rings are damaged, they must be replaced.
- The LED inside this flashlight is non-replaceable. When the LED reaches the end of its service life, the entire product should be replaced.
- Recharge the stored battery every four months to maintain the Li-Ion battery's normal performance.
8. Warnings
- High-intensity light of the flashlight can cause eye damage. Avoid shining it directly into anyone’s eyes.
- This flashlight generates a significant amount of heat during operation, causing the shell to become hot. Use with caution to avoid burns.
- Do not shine the flashlight in critical proximity to flammable substances to avoid fire.
- Do not use batteries other than those specified in the technical specifications.
- Batteries contain substances that may be harmful to the environment and human health.
- Do not throw batteries into fire or attempt to open the outer casing.
- Keep this product out of reach of children.
The manufacturer shall not be responsible for any damage resulting from the failure to follow these instructions. The manufacturer reserves the right to make changes to the manual - the current version can be downloaded from the website by scanning the QR code.
9. Warranty
Warranty Period: Flashlight - 3 years; Battery - 1 year. The warranty does not cover accessories.
During the warranty period, a faulty product can be exchanged or returned with proof of purchase and all accessories saved.
The following are not covered by the limited warranty:
- Misuse of the product causing damage to its integral components.
- Unauthorized disassembly or the presence of deep mechanical damage to the product.
- Damage due to force majeure.
