If the external flexible cable or cord of this luminaire is damaged, it shall be exclusively replaced by the manufacturer or his service agent or a similar qualified person in order to avoid a hazard. If you are uncertain, please contact IKEA.
The following parts are included in the package:
Screw the first pole section onto the threaded rod extending from the base. Ensure it is securely tightened.
Screw the second pole section onto the top of the first pole section. Tighten securely.
Screw the third pole section onto the top of the second pole section. Tighten securely.
Screw the fourth pole section onto the top of the third pole section. Tighten securely.
Screw the fifth pole section onto the top of the fourth pole section. Tighten securely.
Connect the power cord to the top assembly, ensuring a secure electrical connection.
Route the power cord along the assembled pole. Use the two provided fasteners/clips to secure the cord neatly against the pole at designated points.
Place the lamp shade onto the top assembly. Push down gently until it clicks into place, securing it.
Screw a suitable light bulb (not included) into the socket. Ensure the bulb is compatible with the fixture's wattage and type.
