Assembly and Safety Instructions

Important Safety Information

If the external flexible cable or cord of this luminaire is damaged, it shall be exclusively replaced by the manufacturer or his service agent or a similar qualified person in order to avoid a hazard. If you are uncertain, please contact IKEA.

Assembly Steps

Follow these steps to assemble your TÅGARP floor lamp:

  1. Step 1: Attach the main pole to the base. The pole screws into the base.

  2. Step 2: Connect the next section of the pole to the first section. Screw them together.

  3. Step 3: Continue connecting pole sections until the desired height is reached. Screw each section together.

  4. Step 4: Attach the adjustable reading lamp arm to the top of the main pole.

  5. Step 5: Route the power cord along the pole.

  6. Step 6: Secure the power cord to the pole using the provided clips.

  7. Step 7: Attach the main lampshade to the top of the pole. It should click into place.

  8. Step 8: Insert light bulbs into the sockets of both the main lamp and the reading lamp. Screw them in gently.
