Thermokon RDF-IR Ceiling Sensor Surface Temperature
Datasheet for the Thermokon RDF-IR, a ceiling flush-mounted sensor for surface temperature measurement.
Application
The RDF-IR is a ceiling flush-mounted sensor designed for surface temperature measurement in rooms, offices, and other workspaces. It utilizes an infrared measuring principle to determine the average temperature within a circular detection range of 80 ±5°. When two IR sensors are utilized, the system can provide the mean, minimum, or maximum temperature values, in addition to individual sensor readings. This functionality is configurable via the Thermokon USEapp.

Configuration
Communication between the Thermokon Bluetooth dongle (micro-USB, Item No.: 668262) and the sensor is required. Commercial Bluetooth dongles are not compatible.
Application-specific reconfiguration of devices can be performed using the Thermokon USEapp. Configuration is possible when the device is powered.
The configuration app and its description are available in the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store.
Application Notice
The Bluetooth dongle snaps into the socket easily. When removing, fix the plug-in card (option PCB) to prevent it from being unintentionally pulled out. The ceiling flush-mounted sensor is installed in a 26 mm diameter hole.
