SRC-AO MULTI V | VV
EnOcean Radio Receiver with 1/2 Analog Outputs
Data Sheet
Technical changes reserved. Status: 31.07.2025 A140
Manufacturer: Thermokon Sensortechnik GmbH
Application
Unidirectional flush-mounted EnOcean radio receiver for evaluating EnOcean radio sensors for direct proportional output of various values, such as temperature, setpoint temperature, or humidity, via one or two 0..10 V outputs.
This product is intended for use as part of an automation solution for (commercial) buildings. It transmits sensor data wirelessly over short distances within a building to suitable receivers. No personal data or location data is transmitted. The product cannot communicate directly with the internet and is not intended for applications that use the internet to forward sensor data unprocessed. Automation stations that forward data via the internet, e.g., for visualizing the building status, must ensure the legally required encryption of the data to be forwarded.
Type Overview
- Radio receiver - 1x analog 0..10 V output: SRC-AO MULTI V
- Radio receiver - 2x analog 0..10 V outputs: SRC-AO MULTI VV

Electrical Connection
The devices are designed for operation with 24V AC/DC (SELV). When electrically connecting the devices, the technical data of the devices apply. The devices must be operated with a constant operating voltage. Surges during power-on/off of the supply voltage must be avoided by the installer.

Mounting
The module housing is prepared for mounting in a standard flush-mounted box with a blank cover and cable outlet. No separate external antenna is required for operation. When mounting, ensure a distance of at least 0.3 m from metallic objects (radiators) to avoid shielding of radio waves and excessive heat buildup.
Function Description
The SRC-AO MULTI converts the values of a data byte from an EnOcean telegram proportionally to the analog 0..10 V output. This allows EnOcean sensors to be easily evaluated and integrated into existing systems. Any 4-byte (A5) EnOcean telegram can be learned per output. If sensor monitoring is active and no valid telegram from the learned sensor has been received within 60 minutes, this is signaled by a continuous blinking of the LRN LED. As soon as a valid telegram is received again, the LRN LED goes out.
Commissioning
- Set receiver to learning mode: Press and hold the LRN button on the receiver. After 2 seconds, the receiver automatically switches to learning mode. This is visually indicated by the LRN LED blinking.
- Select channel to which the sensor should be learned (only for Type VV): Briefly press the LRN button to select the desired channel. The LRN LED indicates which channel is selected (1 blink = Channel 1, 2 blinks = Channel 2).
- Learn radio sensor: Press the Learn button on the radio sensor (transmitter). The transmitter assignment in the receiver is indicated by the LRN LED lighting up continuously for 2 seconds.
- Exit learning mode: The receiver's learning mode is exited by pressing the LRN button for longer than 2 seconds, or automatically if no button on the transmitter is pressed for 60 seconds. The receiver is then ready for operation and uses the measured values supplied by the transmitters.
- Delete transmitters (if necessary): Learned transmitters can be deleted. To do this, set the receiver to learning mode (see 1.). If a button on a learned transmitter is then pressed, the transmitter is unlearned. Transmitter deletion is indicated by the LRN LED lighting up continuously twice for 4 seconds.
- Restore factory settings (if necessary): Press and hold the LRN button and the PROG button on the receiver. After approx. 5 seconds, all learned transmitters are deleted from memory. The memory deletion is indicated by the LRN LED and PROG LED lighting up simultaneously.
Changing Receiver Parameters
The standard parameters can be changed in the "Learning Mode" operating mode using the PROG button.
Parameter | Description | Factory Setting |
---|---|---|
Sensor Monitoring On/Off | Sensor Monitoring | active |
Selection of EnOcean data byte to be output on the analog output (Data byte X: 0...255 -> Output: 0...10V) | ||
Data byte 1 | active | |
Data byte 2 | inactive | |
Data byte 3 | inactive | |
Invert Output (0...10V -> 10...0V) | No inversion | active |
Inversion | inactive |
Example:
- Set receiver to "Learning Mode": Press LRN button for longer than 2 seconds. Receiver switches to "Learning Mode". LRN LED blinks.
- Select channel to be parameterized (only for Type VV): Briefly press the LRN button to select the channel to be parameterized. The LRN LED indicates which channel is selected (1 blink = Channel 1, 2 blinks = Channel 2).
- Activate output inversion: Press the PROG button 7 times. The receiver confirms the parameter selection by blinking the PROG LED 7 times.
- Exit "Learning Mode": Press the LRN button for longer than 2 seconds. Receiver switches to standard operation. LRN LED off.
- The changed device parameters are saved in the device and remain stored even in the event of a power failure.
