Overview

The Altronix TM400 enclosure facilitates the integration of Altronix power distribution solutions with Mercury/LenelS2 access controllers and accessories. It is designed to simplify board layout, enhance wire management, and reduce installation time and labor costs.

• 16 Gauge black enclosure with 12 double knockouts for convenient access (1.125” [3/4”] Conduit / 1.375” [1”] Conduit).

• Includes tamper switch (Altronix Model TS112 or equivalent), cam lock, and mounting hardware.

Installation Instructions

Wiring must comply with the National Electrical Code/NFPA 70/ANSI and all local codes and authorities having jurisdiction. This product is intended for indoor use only.

1. Mark and predrill wall holes aligning with the top two keyholes on the enclosure. Install two upper fasteners and screws, ensuring screw heads protrude. Place the enclosure's upper keyholes over the screws, level, and secure. Mark the position for the lower two holes. Remove the enclosure. Drill the lower holes and install the two fasteners. Place the enclosure's upper keyholes over the two upper screws. Install and tighten the two lower screws.
2. Mount the included UL Listed tamper switch (Altronix Model TS112 or equivalent) in the desired location, opposite the hinge. Slide the tamper switch bracket onto the enclosure edge approximately 2" from the right side (See Figure 1). Connect tamper switch wiring to the Access Control Panel input or the appropriate UL Listed reporting device. To activate an alarm signal, open the enclosure door.
3. Mount Altronix and Mercury (LenelS2) boards to the enclosure; refer to page 3 for mounting configurations.

Installation Instructions for Power Supply and Sub-Assemblies

Altronix Power Supplies/Chargers and/or Sub-Assemblies:

1. Fasten 5/8" spacers (provided) to the pem locations that match the hole pattern for Altronix Power Supply/Charger or Altronix Sub-Assembly boards (See Figure 2, page 3). Secure metal spacers in the correct locations to ensure proper grounding (See Figure 2, page 3).
2. Mount boards to spacers using 5/16" pan head screws (provided) (See Figure 2, 2a, page 3).

LenelS2 Sub-Assemblies:

1. Fasten spacers onto metal pem configurations (C), (D), or (E) of the enclosure, depending on the sub-assembly module (See Figure 2, page 2).
2. Position the access controller module over the corresponding spacers and press down onto the snap-on spacers (See Figure 2a, page 2).
3. Fasten the backplane to the Trove1 enclosure using the provided lock nuts.
